The two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenide nanosheet-carbon composite is an attractive material for energy storage because of its high Faradaic activity, unique nanoconstruction and electronic properties. In this work, a facile one step preparation molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheet-graphene (MoS2/G) with the in situ reduction graphene oxide reported. structure, morphology composition pure MoS2 composites were comparatively analyzed by various characterization techniques....
A simple and efficient solution mixing method has been developed for the synthesis of G-V2O5 nanocomposite. By this method, one-dimensional V2O5 rods are decorated onto two-dimensional graphene sheets. The synthesized nanocomposites characterized by XRD, SEM with elemental mapping, TEM, FT-IR, Raman, BET, XPS analyses. photocatalytic activity nanocomposite studied methylene blue dye shows strong degradation efficiency direct sunlight irradiation compared to UV visible light sources....
Dimensionally mixed ternary nanocomposite RGO/CNT/CeO2develops novel functions displaying enhanced electrochemical performance.
Graphene-ceria (CeO2G) nanocomposites were prepared by using a low-temperature solution process with different weight percentages of graphene, and their electrochemical properties investigated. Structural the studied X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR spectral analyses. FE-SEM HRTEM images revealed "wrinkled paper"-like morphology composites. Elemental mapping recorded FE-EPMA technique. XPS analyses binding states elements present in The composite 5% graphene displayed specific...
Abstract Electrochemical supercapacitance performance of a ternary nanocomposite composed mesoporous indium oxide (In2O3) nanocube crystals (size ∼50 nm) embedded in carbon nanotubes (CNT) and reduced graphene (RGO) prepared by hydrothermal method is reported. A glassy electrode modified with the In2O3/CNT/RGO material exhibited excellent electrochemical large specific capacitance 1273 F g−1 at 5 mV s−1 948 1 g−1. The composite showed cyclic stability without any capacity loss after 5000...
This paper reports an in-depth study on nanocrystalline Gd-doped ZnO thin films synthesized using versatile pulsed spray pyrolysis method and exhibit room temperature ferromagnetism. The detailed structural microstructural studies confirm that the doped Gd ions occupy Zn sites peak shift can be elucidated by charge neutrality. Optical investigation shows doping in lattice leads to a decrease near band edge position due introduction of new unoccupied states 4f electrons. electronic structure...
Highly monodispersed CdS nanoparticles using polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) as the capping agent were synthesised by chemical coprecipitation method. The surface-modified cadmium sulfide found to be remarkably stable. In presence of PVP, cubic phase with small grain size observed in XRD. peaks identified originate from (111), (220) and (311) planes CdS, respectively. crystallite was about 3 nm calculated (111) plane XRD pattern it also confirmed through HRTEM. Morphology elemental mapping...
Thin films of cadmium doped zinc oxide (Cd : ZnO) with different concentrations have been prepared by the spray pyrolysis method on substrates at 400 °C. The physical properties were studied as a function increasing dopant concentration (up to 25 wt%). characterized methods understand their structural, optical and electrical properties. Energy dispersive x-ray diffraction spectroscopy analysis showed that Cd in solid film is slightly lower than starting solution. revealed are polycrystalline...
