Silver sulfadiazine (SSD) has been the standard topical antimicrobial for burn wounds decades. Recently, nanometer-sized silver particles are available which have high surface to volume ratio and remain effective even at a very low concentration minimizes chance tissue toxicity due silver. Hence, we conducted randomized controlled trial compare effectiveness of SSD nano-crystalline (AgNP) hydrogel in management.
Most commonly practiced surgical "lay open" technique to treat fistula-in-ano (a common anorectal pathology) has high rate of recurrence and anal incontinence. Alternatively, a nonsurgical cost efficient treatment with Ksharasutra (cotton Seton coated Ayurvedic medicines) minimal complications. Background: The use of topical chemotherapy is fundamental to prevent infections thereby reducing local inflammation, pain and early healing in superficial, deep dermal burns. Among the whole gamut, choice agents became an important decisive factor. Silver sulfadiazine (SSD) cream has been part burns management for many years. major complications attributed silver compounds are due complex or anion sulfadiazine, not itself. With better understanding physical chemical properties,...
Here, we report a rare case of migration foreign body has occurred from loin to scrotum. A 35-year-old male patient presented with right sided scrotal mass, on exploration it was found be metallic bullet. Introduction: Scrotal reconstruction remains a challenging problem to the surgeons. The various techniques used for scrotal includes residual tissue re-arrangement, skin grafts, pedicled and free transfer. There is lack of unified approach deal with issue. Aim: To discuss surgical performed in tertiary care centre along its epidemiological factors. Materials Methods: This observational descriptive study was conducted on 33 cases located Eastern India over period three years. planned...

Background: Stable skin cover over exposed tendo achilles is essential for proper healing of to regain its normal function. Exposed can be a result open injuries, repair closed rupture, complications occurring after repair. Various methods have been described in literature coverage repaired example distally based flaps, advancement flap, free tissue transfers and islanded flaps. This article describes the usefulness VY flap stable achilles. Methods: A 34-year-old male had injury left TA...
Background: Lip defects following neoplasm surgery are usually complicated. Appropriate reconstruction is vital in improving the quality of life such patients. In this study, we have assessed usefulness dorsal/lateral tongue flap cases lip reconstruction.
