This paper provides a theoretical framework for analyzing the impact of marriage market and divorce legislation on household labor supply. In our approach, sex ratio in rules governing are examples "distribution factors." These factors defined as variables that affect members' bargaining position but not preferences or joint budget set. We extend collective supply model developed by Chiappori to allow distribution factors. show imposes new restrictions functions eases identification...

This paper tests the unitary and collective household labour supply models within a structural framework. A nonlinear unrestricted system is postulated set of parametric restrictions imposed by each model derived. Our results generally reject income pooling embodied in model. Also, symmetry cross‐wage effects rejected. However, not rejected for groups with no pre‐school children.

Grazing activity (phytoplankton pigments gut) and percentage recently nonrecently fed copepods (from observation food were monitored two strata (0–30 m 30–100 m). Phytoplankton restricted to upper stratum. bimodal twilight grazing rhythm observed: first feeding period, stratum, begins after sunset; it is followed by “midnight sinking” deeper stratum (2–3 h), which gut content...

Cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is the recommended first-line treatment cancer-related insomnia, but its accessibility very limited in routine care. A stepped care approach has been as a cost-effective way to make CBT-I more widely accessible. However, no controlled study yet published about efficacy of this approach. The goal noninferiority randomized trial (RCT) was compare short and long-term (StepCBT-I) standard face-to-face (StanCBT-I).A total 177 cancer patients were...

In this paper we estimate a model of household labor supply based on the collective approach developed by Chiappori (JPE, 1992). This assumes that intra-household decision process leads to Pareto efficient outcomes. Our extends theory allowing marriage market, and especially sex ratio, affect sharing rule supplies. We show our imposes new restrictions parameters functions. Also, individual preferences are recovered using an identification procedure is both simpler more robust than in...
