With the rapid evolution of commercial hardware platforms, in most application domains, industry has shown a growing interest integrating and running independently-developed applications different "criticalities" same multi-core platform. Such integrated systems are commonly referred to as mixed-criticality (MCS). Most MCS-related research published state-of-the-art cite safety-related standards associated each domain (e.g. aeronautics, space, railway, automotive) justify their methods...

The "Super Separator Spectrometer" project S3 is under assembly at the GANIL facility (Caen-France). It a new research installation designed for fundamental physics experiments with high intensity radioactive heavy ions beams produced by SPIRAL2 linear accelerator. This spectrometer will open horizons nuclear physics. made of seven Superconducting Multipole Triplets (SMT) to guide and focalize beam select particles interest. We present superconducting cryogenic aspects these triplets latest...

Abstract This paper presents magnetic field measurements for the Superconducting Multipole Triplets (SMT) prototypes of Super Separator Spectrometer (S 3 ). These advanced magnets, based on innovative concept design, generate fields quadrupole, sextupole, octupole, and dipole. Magnetic have been conducted with a prototype mapping system to align magnets assess their performance. Moreover, detailed information experimental setup will be presented along analysis SMT’s multipoles.

The off-diagonal Giant magneto-impedance magnetometer (GMI) offset drift was investigated regarding its temperature dependence and long-term stability. First of all, the theoretical GMI effect model upgraded as to include dependency which presumed influence magnetic permeability electrical resistivity sensing element. This allows estimate field sensitivity well sensitivity. We then defined ratio these two quantities a criterion merit representing sensor thermal expressed an equivalent in...

Equivalent magnetic noise levels at 1 Hz of three GMI samples have been experimentally determined for different excitation conditions related to both dc current and ac amplitude. These wires or cylindrical-shaped are from the exact same alloy composition obtained fabrication process. The only difference is their diameter which 80 im, 100 im 120 since this parameter has identified as an important factor involved in low frequency level. Indeed, recently proposed model, briefly reminded here,...

In this paper, we investigate the effect of temperature variations on off-diagonal giant magneto-impedance (GMI) response. This paper is based a theoretical model describing GMI-based sensor The modeling has been extended to include resistivity dependence versus temperature. It allows calculate both sensitivity and intrinsic magnetic field sensitivity, whose ratio leads determination offset drift Thanks an original conditioning circuitry double ac current excitation instead classical one,...

This paper presents the measurement of long-time equivalent magnetic field fluctuations. It was obtained with a low noise off-diagonal GMI magnetometer. Acquisitions are conducted dedicated acquisition system. The sensor principle and associated sources reminded. Furthermore, model is extended to include impact very frequency drift impedance. homemade magnetometer used high dynamic analog digital converter board described. performances show peak fluctuations 10 nTpp 20 nT/h during 4.5 hours...

The industrial process in the area of on-board computers is characterized by small production series onboard (hardware and software) configuration items with little recurrence at unit or set level (e.g. computer equipment unit, interconnected redundant units). These result into a reduced amount statistical data related to dependability, which influence on way are specified, designed verified.
