Mentha arvensis L. ( M. ) is an aromatic plant of the genus, renowned for its medicinal and economic importance. The primary components essential oils (EOs) are monoterpenoids, synthesized stored in peltate glandular trichomes (PGTs). In general, EO content relatively low. Methyl jasmonate (MJ) has been reported as effective elicitor terpenoid biosynthesis plants, but specific mechanisms underlying MJ’s influence on remain unclear. this study, exogenous application MJ significantly increased...

Behavioural plasticity can be categorized into activational (also termed contextual) and developmental plasticity. Activational allows immediate contextual behavioural changes, whereas is characterized by time-lagged changes based on memory of previous experiences (learning). tends to decline with age but whether this holds true for both categories the effects first-in-life poorly understood. We tackled issue assessing foraging plant-inhabiting predatory mites, Amblyseius swirskii , thrips...

Fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) possess high diversity and globally wide distribution, including a range of important agricultural pests. However, the origin, phylogeny divergence history remain poorly understood. We undertook first comprehensive mitogenomic study covering phylogenetic reconstruction, time estimation historical biogeography analyses by analyzing 147 mitochondrial genomes representing three subfamilies, seven tribes, 11 genera 82 species. The results recovered all tribes...

Mentha arvensis L. is well known for producing the monoterpenes menthol; its essential oil (EO) widely used in pharmaceutics, cosmetics, food and other industries. The peltate glandular trichome (PGT) site responsible production storage of EO mint. Light one most important environmental factors that contributes to plant growth development, secondary metabolism. In this report, we have investigated influence additional red light (White + Red, W+R) blue Blue, W+B) on parameters growth, EO, PGT...

In Mongolia, the first record of onion thrips was informed in vegetable fields by D. Tsedev (Tsendsuren et al., 1979), since that has no detailed research materials relating to identification and Thysanoptera group observed different crop fields. 2017–2019, we have taken samples from following areas, which spread on eggplant, cucumber, tomato, paprika, beans grown greenhouses Agropark training center, Bornuur soum Tuv province Mandal Selenge field accordingly. The Two-Spotted Spider Mite (TSSM) is a prevalent mite pest found worldwide and extensively distributed in Mongolian greenhouses. In this study, we conducted field experiment using predatory mites botanical pesticides on eggplants infested by TSSM. We observed promising results terms of reducing populations achieving overall improved outcomes. took place 120 sq.m. greenhouse located at the "Agropark" training-research center University Life Sciences. aim was to test effectiveness following...

RNA interference (RNAi) induces gene silencing in order to participate immune-related pathways. Previous studies have shown that the LmSerpin1 upregulates immune responses of Locusta migratoria manilensis, and infection locusts with Metarhizium anisopliae can be enhanced through injection interfering dsSerpin1. In this study, dsRNA was synthesized from Serpin1 fed third instars L. m. manilensis at concentrations 5 μg, 10 20 μg. Feeding dsSerpin1 increased mortality μg had highest lethality,...
