Abstract To avoid the complex core surface functionalization or pretreatment that is necessary in order to coat latex and silica colloids with a uniform, complete metal shell, solvent‐assisted route has been explored prepare (Ag Au) shell controlled thickness on polystyrene (PS) electroless plating approach, based electrostatic attraction, silver colloids. Without any additional treatment, as‐prepared core–shell can be crystallized directly into long‐range‐ordered structures photonic...

Bi-based layered ferroelectric thin films of Sr2Bi4Ti5O18 (SBTi) were prepared by pulsed-laser deposition. The c-axis-oriented SBTi grown on SrRuO3 seeded Pt/TiO2/SiO2/Si substrates while polycrystalline substrates. measurements ferroelectricity revealed that the direction spontaneous polarization was not along c axis since much less than randomly oriented films. There no significant degradation switchable charge at least up to 1011 cycles for films, suggesting that, even with Ti which...

Extreme events can extensively damage power systems, causing customers to experience long-lasting outages. During such events, an electric vehicle (EV) be used directly a house, i.e., vehicle-to-home (V2H). Specifically, the EV serves as mobile energy storage system-running errands "transport" from other places. Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) further allows cooperation among houses. It enables fleets take turns running so that sustained supply is possible. Moreover, autonomous driving technology also...
