Ammodaucus belongs to the family Apiaceae (Umbelliferae), subfamily Apioideae, trib Caucalideae, and comprises one species in Algeria (Quezel Santa, 1962). The biological importance of members this genus promoted us reinvestigate volatile constituents fruits leucotricus Coss. et Dur., carry out a study as far antibacterial activity is concerned. present work deals with chemical composition activities hydrodistilled oils. After extraction, oil was analyzed by gas chromatography–mass...

Salting effect of NaCl and KCl on the liquid–liquid equilibria (LLE) water–ethyl acetate–ethanol system was investigated experimentally at 293.15 K 1 atm. The salt mass percentages considered were 5 10%. results show that two electrolytes significantly affected solubility solute in organic phase, since its distribution coefficient increased with rising amount electrolyte, causing a salting-out which more pronounced for than could be particularly useful to eliminate solutropy. Interaction...

Abstract A method based on a genetic algorithm (GA) combined with Levenberg‐Marquardt (LM) applicable to the population balance model for coalescence parameter estimation in liquid‐liquid biphasic system is presented. The toluene/water rotating disk contactor was taken as an example. Estimation methods such problem are often deterministic optimization models that rather instable and divergent around local minimum. To overcome these limitations, present study involves introduction of...

In this study we present the results of simulation ternary liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) using Genetic Algorithm and Threshold Acceptance with two hybrid functions (Nelder-Mead Simplex method: NMS Quasi-Newton QN). These methods show that hybridization both GA TA algorithms give good values tie-lines. The RMSD obtained were compared to UNIQUAC NRTL models QN functions. Levy function was used in test performances algorithms. experimental protocol considered work a system...

The identification of the crude alkaloid extract Algerian Ziziphus mauritiana Lam. was carried out using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. identified ten alkaloids seem to be reported for first time in this plant species.   Key words: Rhamnaceae, alkaloids, (GC/MS),Ziziphus mauritiana.

Abstract A model based on simulated annealing approach is used with e-UNIQUAC as well two other algorithms to study the absorption of carbon dioxide by monoethanolamine solutions. In this work, we propose compare performance (through knowledge RMSD values) stochastic methods, namely GA (genetic algorithm) and SA (simulated annealing) methods a deterministic method that simplex method. These were applied an alkanolamine solution using chemical equilibrium thermodynamic model. The latter use...

A general model, based on double film theory, is developed to study absorption with chemical reactions. In the liquid region, model a set of differential equations that describe mass transfer accompanying several reactions; resolution system achieved by finite difference method using an implicit scheme combined Newton's method. Continuity and equilibrium coefficients are exploited in treatment bulk which Newton-Raphson method; results used directly as boundary conditions equations....
