Twenty compounds were detected in the essential oil of Rhanterium suaveolens representing 98.01% total content. In this study we investigated the chemical composition of roots Bunium incrassatum growing in Algeria; two coumarins, β-sitosterol, sucrose and oleic acid were isolated from methylene chloride:methanol (1/1) extract species.
