Scaffold fabrication and biocompatibility are crucial for successful bone tissue engineering. Nanometer hydroxyapatite (nHAP) combined with collagen (COL) is frequently utilized as a suitable osseous scaffold material. Furthermore, growth factors, including morphogenetic protein‑2 (BMP‑2), used to enhance the properties. The present study blending freeze‑drying methods develop BMP‑2‑nHAP‑COL scaffold. An ELISA was performed determine BMP‑2 release rate from Flow cytometry identify rat...

Prediction of ground movements in the case continuous subsidence is critically important for planning underground mining. Many calculation models are used to predict mining subsidence. A comprehensive method render current superfluous can only come from a theoretical model, but challenge remains defining parameters, given great variety rock structures found. Hence, innovation through conceptual and technological study mechanism needed ensure that this problem be solved satisfactorily. In...

High-strength shotcrete is always needed to strengthen rock support. However, it will reversely increase the crack risk. Crack normally goes against durability and shortens service life of shotcrete. The objective this article was improve resistance with expansive agent internal curing agent. C50 10% silica fume taken as reference mix composition. Ring test thermal stress simulating actual temperature, relative humidity, constraint were carried out directly assess resistance. Restrained...

In the context of reinforced concrete (RC) arch bridges, while incorporation full sections steel fibers can enhance bridge’s toughness, cracking resilience, and bearing capacity, achieving an optimal balance between structural performance economic viability in this manner remains challenging. This article introduces a novel computational approach—the distributed fiber (LSFRC) arch—which considers spatial distribution damage RC arches. The static SFRC elements LSFRC beams was compared...

To control the level of tensile stress in section reinforced concrete arch cantilever construction, a construction method temporary prestressing reinforcement is proposed this study. The influence law on ring revealed based engineering background (Shatuo Special Bridge Guizhou). Meanwhile, test carried out main to verify effectiveness method. results show that configuration during suspension bridge has obvious stress. can also effectively improve force uniformity buckle cables, reduce...

This paper deals with the effect of mineral admixtures and Geopolymer on preventing excessive expansion due to alkali-silica reaction (ASR). The test method used was ASTM C 441-97. Expansions mortar-bars were measured at 14, 56, 90 days. results prove that can effectively restrain ASR. When three kinds admixtures, silica fume, fly ash, ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS), together, they bring about a compound which is more effective Mortar be reduced 81.9 % by this effect. Chemical...

In light of the limited research on latent damages during construction large-span suspension arches, this study introduced a method to simulate structural damage utilizing random porosity. Initially, based data from real-world engineering projects, most susceptible areas within arch structure were pinpointed. Subsequently, multiple test simulation models constructed. Employing Python, commands for porosity implemented ABAQUS and distinct mesh modules devised depict structures under varying...

In order to evaluate the crack resistance of high strength fly ash concrete, concretes with different contents silica fume and were compared same grade by adjusting water binder ratio. Compared concrete 5% plus 35% ash, concrete 40% has mechanical properties tensile strain as well lower drying shrinkage. Complex evaluated Temperature Stress Testing Machine (TSTM). The results show that have outstanding because higher allowable temperature differential cracking temperature.

In order to evaluate serves life concrete, a relationship about and wear degree concrete should be established. this paper, process basalt on was studied under flow velocity 1.7m/s to2.4m/s by improved water method test equipment. Meanwhile, an image acquisition used get measure influence result shows: rate higher when faster particle sharper, there exponential function between forms rate.

Abstract High rebound rate and low construction efficiency are outstanding problems for traditional shotcrete. To solve these problems, Nano-scale admixture (NSA) was used to prepare high performance wet-mix Tests of sidewall overall were carried out study the effect NSA. A total eight mixtures measured assess impact factors such as active variety (silica fume NSA), NSA content (7.5%, 10% 12.5%) fineness (128nm, 137nm 147nm) on rate. The results indicated that shotcrete reduced by 17% 25%...
