We present the results of a paleomagnetic study 360 cores, drilled at three different areas from Tibetan Plateau: 13 sites Lower Cretaceous red beds in Xining‐Lanzhou basin, around Xining and Lanzhou cities, southwest Qilian mountains (36.2°N, 103.5°E); Kunlun block, near Maqin (34.5°N, 100.1°); 9 Paleocene/lower Eocene Qiangtang Fenghuoshan 92.8°E). Thermal demagnetization samples allowed us to isolate high‐temperature component which passes both positive reversal fold tests for all...
The alkaline lacustrine source rock developed in Fengcheng Formation is the main of Mesozoic oil and gas Mahu Sag Junggar Basin. study related to Total organic carbon (TOC) evaluation rock. Utilizing improved ΔlogR method multiple regression logging data on SPSS software, TOC calculation model has been obtained. Results show that western slope concentrated longitudinal direction. values are more than 0.6%, highest value greater 2.0%. gradually decrease from west east plane.
Total organic carbon (TOC) content of source rocks is usually determined by geochemical analysis samples, but this process takes a long time and costs lot. Using high-resolution continuous logging information to evaluate the TOC can solve above problems. Previous studies have shown that there are certain differences in response curves such as spontaneous potential (SP), acoustic interval transit (AC), natural gamma ray (GR), resistivity (Rt) density (DEN) TOC. Based on characteristics,...
The paleovegetation and paleoclimate characteristics are studied in the Palaeogene strata of Hetao Basin, Subei Basin Qaidam China, Cretaceous Guyang Formation (K1g) Basin. These three basins receive high attention, different distribution areas, representative. Pollen evidence shows that: (1) sporopollen assemblage Linhe (E3l) is characterised by Pinaceae-Ephedripites-Ulmipollenites-Chenopodipollis. It reflects that ancient vegetation types were mainly coniferous evergreen woody plants,...
The source rocks in the Linhe Depression of Hetao Basin are mainly developed within Paleogene Formation (E3l) and Lower Cretaceous Guyang (K1g). organic geochemical characteristics area still need to be clarified, which restricts subsequent exploration development. Therefore, this study will systematically analyze generation potential, sedimentary environment, material two sets rocks. experimental results show that: (1) hydrocarbon potential northern is more significant than that southern...
