본 연구는 중도 지적장애인들이 대부분 열악한 보호작업장에서 단순제조업에 종사하며 보람을 느끼지도 못하는 상태를 해결할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 제조업 이외의 취업직종확대를 목적으로 실시된 시범사례연구를 분석하였다. 연구의 문제는 지적장애인을 위한 직종이 단순조립 혹은 단순제조업 느낄 일자리는 어떤 가능하며, 취업 제약요인을 분석하고 그들을 일반 지원고용의 일자리 확대를 연계모형을 구안하는 내용을 중심으로 시범사례들을 특히 지적장애인에 대한 직종은 단순제조업이 대부분이고 그들에게 적합한 직업은 보호작업장이라고 판단해버리는 관점을 벗어나서 그들도 일반사회에 통합되고 직업에 만족하며 보람된 마음으로 종사할 있게 해준 종합하였다 결과를 보면 휴먼케어직종, 외식서비스, 세차와 같은 일반인과 교류할 직종에서 만족감을 느끼고 있다. 또한 농장에서의 재배를 통하여 정서적으로 안정된 보여주었으며 공공건물 환경미화, 세탁 및 포장과 업무에서도 몇 개월의 현장훈련으로 충분히 일할 능력을...
