Abstract We analyze the 3D morphology and kinematics of 13 open clusters (OCs) located within 500 pc Sun, using Gaia EDR 3 kinematic data from literature. Members OCs are identified unsupervised machine-learning method StarGO, five parameters ( X , Y Z <?CDATA ${\mu }_{\alpha }\cos \delta ,{\mu }_{\delta }$?> ). The OC sample covers an age range 25 Myr to 2.65 Gyr. correct asymmetric distance distribution that is due parallax error Bayesian inversion. uncertainty in corrected for a cluster...

Abstract We identify members of 65 open clusters in the solar neighborhood using machine-learning algorithm StarGO based on Gaia EDR3 data. After adding 20 from previous studies we obtain 85 clusters, and study their morphology kinematics. classify substructures outside tidal radius into four categories: filamentary (f1) fractal (f2) for <100 Myr, halo (h) tail (t) >100 Myr. The kinematical f1-type are elongated; these resemble disrupted cluster Group X. Kinematic tails distinct t-type...

Abstract We identify hierarchical structures in the Vela OB2 complex and cluster pair Collinder 135 UBC 7 with Gaia EDR3 using neural network machine-learning algorithm StarGO . Five second-level substructures are disentangled OB2, which referred to as Huluwa 1 (Gamma Velorum), 2, 3, 4, 5. For first time, simultaneously identified constituent clusters of minimal manual intervention. propose an alternative scenario 1–5 have originated from sequential star formation.
