Abstract We identify members of 65 open clusters in the solar neighborhood using machine-learning algorithm StarGO based on Gaia EDR3 data. After adding 20 from previous studies we obtain 85 clusters, and study their morphology kinematics. classify substructures outside tidal radius into four categories: filamentary (f1) fractal (f2) for <100 Myr, halo (h) tail (t) >100 Myr. The kinematical f1-type are elongated; these resemble disrupted cluster Group X. Kinematic tails distinct t-type...

This paper reports the feasibility of impregnation no-insulation (NI) high-temperature superconducting (HTS) coils using solder. NI are widely studied and used in many situations. To utilize an HTS coil under high mechanical loads such as field for rotating machines, tapes must be stabilized mechanically. Epoxy is a common method to protect from disturbances caused by magnetic rotational vibration rotor enhance stability. However, traditional epoxy resins electrical insulating materials...

Because of the small square dimension, a soldered-stacked-square (3S) high-temperature superconducting (HTS) wire with 1 mm width is considered as candidate for cabling large current conductors through twist process. For studying structure, in this work, we prepared several twisted 3S samples fabricated from same piece 10 m length. wire, uniformity critical was evaluated. As well, investigated basic electrical and mechanical characteristics wire. The main results show that distribution...

We identify structures of the young star cluster NGC 2232 in solar neighborhood (323.0 pc), and a newly discovered LP 2439 (289.1 pc). Member candidates are identified using Gaia DR2 sky position, parallax proper motion data, by an unsupervised machine learning method, \textsc{StarGO}. contamination from Galactic disk is further removed color magnitude diagram. The four groups (NGC 2232, two filamentary structures) stars coeval with age 25 Myr were likely formed same giant molecular cloud....

The various advantages associated with the growth properties of Escherichia coli have justified their use in production genetically engineered vaccines. However, endotoxin contamination, plasmid vector instability, and requirement for antibiotic supplementation are frequent bottlenecks successful recombinant proteins that safe industrial-scaled applications. To overcome these drawbacks, we focused on interrupting expression several key genes involved synthesis lipopolysaccharide (LPS), an...

We have investigated the synergism between plant phenols and carotenoids in protecting phosphatidylcholine (PC) membranes of giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs) from oxidative destruction, for which chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) was used as a lipophilic photosensitizer. The effect examined seven different combinations β-carotene (β-CAR) phenols. light-induced change GUV morphology monitored via conventional optical microscopy, quantified by dimensionless image-entropy parameter, ΔE. ΔE-t time...

Chitinases expressed by some beneficial fungi are crucial for the biocontrol of phytopathogens. The activity chitinolytic strains Trichoderma sp. may be enhanced increasing expression chitinases. We describe strain Mchit42 which expresses a transgenic chitinase chit42 from Metarhizium anisopliae. Inhibitory effects against plant pathogens were tested. Comparison WT (T30) and OE (Mchit42) indicated that overexpression M. anisopliae did not alter growth, while enhancing endogenous chitinase,...

The production of exogenous recombinant proteins is constrained by the complexity connections between cellular physiology and protein synthesis. Here, we developed a rational highly efficient approach to improve bacterial engineering, using HPV16-L1 as candidate. Comparing transcriptomic profiles strain under leaky expression low temperature-induced stress, found that accelerated host energy metabolism altered ribosome synthesis assembly, inducing overexpression heterologous low-temperature...

This paper presents the charging and discharging characteristics of No-insulation (NI) high-temperature superconducting (HTS) coil impregnated using solder. Impregnation is a common method to fix protect HTS from mechanical disturbances caused by magnetic field rotational vibration. However, traditional epoxy resins are electrical insulating materials which might cause turn-to-turn contact resistance NI coils increase. Therefore, we proposed new kind impregnation electrically conductive...

Abstract We use Gaia DR3 data to study the Collinder 132–Gulliver 21 region via machine-learning algorithm S tar GO and find eight subgroups of stars (ASCC 32, 132 gp 1–6, Gulliver 21) located in close proximity. Three comoving populations were identified among these subgroups: (i) a coeval 25 Myr old moving group (Collinder 132), (ii) an intermediate-age (50–100 Myr) group, (iii) 275 dissolving cluster 21. These three form parallel diagonal stripe-shape overdensities U – V distribution,...
