Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) is a biodegradable material with many potential biomedical applications, including medical implants and drug delivery. This study developed system for screening production strains in order to optimize PHA Cupriavidus taiwanensis 184, 185, 186, 187, 204, 208, 209 Pseudomona oleovorans ATCC 29347. In this study, Sudan black B staining, Infrared (IR) Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis indicated that the best strain synthesis C. which obtains polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB)....
Catalysts prepared for ethanol dehydration in a fixed-bed reactor acted as strong active acidic catalysts under reaction conditions at lower temperatures. Experimental including the catalyst type [active aluminum oxide (γ-Al2O3) and ZSM-5 zeolite modified using two-stage through dealumination or desilication by impregnation method with phosphorous lanthanum], weight hourly space velocity (WHSV), concentration, temperature were investigated to obtain optimal conditions. The characterized...

Magnetic characterized X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), field emission electron microscope (FESEM), transmission...
In pharmacology, development of a formulated nanosuspension, potential drug delivery system for poorly soluble drugs, has been investigated to overcome the bioavailability problems caused by weak solubility, limited chemical stability following administration (i.e., short half-life), poor bioavailability, and potentially strong side effects requiring enrichment at site action. For first time use in pesticide system, two-step milling process preparing nanosuspension active...
In an enzyme-based fuel cell system, glucose oxidase and laccase were immobilized on carbon papers as the anode cathode electrodes. A conductive polymer (polypyrrole) was added to improve conductivity. The mediator enzyme mixed in a phosphate buffer solution for entrapment. Nafion 212 membrane separated two half-cells. Power density measurements taken at concentration of 10 mM across different operating voltages. Potassium hexacyanoferrate III used redox anode, 2,2'-azino-bis...

Empty oil palm bunches, a byproduct of the industry, are typically returned to plantations as mulch but represent valuable renewable energy source. Through pyrolysis, these biomass residues can be converted into useful chemicals and energy. Before raw materials were characterized using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy with dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX). Pyrolysis experiments conducted on samples 30, 60, 80 mesh at...
Abstract This article presents and develops the thermodynamic correlation model to obtain solubility of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) in solvents. offers a new way evaluate polymer parameters regressions between experimental parameters. Important influencing such as temperature, molecular weight, crystallinity, kind PHAs were studied. Experiments carried out on PHB‐co‐Hx copolymers different contents. Finally, which takes into account these established tested 232 points. The method developed...
Polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) is one of the polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) which has biodegradable and biocompatible properties. They are adopted in biomedical field, in, for example, medical implants drug delivery carriers. This study seeks to promote production PHB by Vibrio sp. BM-1, isolated from a marine environment improving constituents medium implementing an appropriate fermentation strategy. successfully developed glycerol-yeast extract-tryptone (GYT) that can facilitate growth BM-1 lead...
This study investigated the separation of 1,3-propanediol from a fermentation broth produced using Klebsiella pneumoniae. Salting-out extraction was used to separate one-salt and two-salt systems. The highest distribution coefficient recovery between pentanol an aqueous solution single-salt system sodium phosphate (0.4 g/mL) were 3.72% 72%, respectively; 2.52% 65.6%, respectively, when sulfate g/mL). For (0.2 g/mL), results 47.2% 92.5%, respectively. stripping pure water approximately 90%.
