The polycrystalline Ca3Co4O9 oxide powders were synthesized by citrate acid sol-gel method, and the ceramics with diverse grain alignments prepared sintering pressed pellet bulks through controlling procedures, respectively. phase compositions, alignments, bulk microstructures, textures as well electrical transport properties investigated means of X-ray diffraction pattern XRD, scanning electron microscopy SEM, transmission TEM constant measurements apparatus. results showed that obtained...
The precision and reliability of test findings are closely related to the uniformity remolded loess samples. Although many methods evaluate have been proposed, they not widely accepted, due defects. Therefore, it is necessary explore evaluation method index samples in laboratory tests. In this paper, variations shear strength microscopic properties along sample height were examined using direct scanning electron microscopy (SEM) test. feasibility employing as an indicator assess confirmed...
Cluster-like cadmium silicate (CdSiO 3 ) nanowire arrays on Si substrate have been synthesized via a self-catalytic growth using modified vapor-phase evaporation method. XRD and HRTEM analyses indicated that the CdSiO had monoclinic single-crystal structure. The mechanism of cluster-like array is proposed as vapor-liquid-solid mechanism, in which lower melting point Cd serves catalyst. PL measurements revealed strong photoluminescence peaks purple region 358–476 nm due to self-activated...
Loess areas, such as the Plateau, are characterized by a fragile ecological environment, high soil erosion, and frequent geological disasters due to unique hydrological properties of loess (e.g., collapsibility permeability). Therefore, must be stabilized for use in engineering construction. Traditional stabilizers (lime, cement, fly ash) cause environmental problems, salinization greenhouse gas emissions. this study investigated effect nanosilica on microscopic mechanism. Different contents...
The confined compression test is the most widely used to study compressive deformation of soil in a laboratory, and height–diameter (H/D) ratio has significant effect on results. However, there been limited research H/D loess deformation. In this work, series tests were carried out remolded samples using modified oedometer explore Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) investigate variation microstructure soils with different ratios along sample height. results showed that axial strain decreases...
High quality Cd0.9Mn0.1S nanobelts have been synthesized using a one-step thermal evaporation method in large scale. Their morphology and microstructures were determined by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission energy-dispersive spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy photoluminescence spectroscopy. The observations revealed that the as-synthesized high single crystalline with hexagonal wurtzite structure. grew along [0 -1 1 0] direction side surfaces...

Hydrogen as a next generation energy carrier, is clear and zero emission fuel with growing application in various fields. Intermodal transportation an important issue for the safety economic use of hydrogen distributed sites. usually transported high-pressure cylinders on trucks bounded space. In this paper, we investigated different cylinder designs, packing strategies their impact storage density, which defined weight divided by space, then found out optimal design strategy. The gas was...
