Due to inherently poor healable and stretchable features, the most explored polyvinyl alcohol-based gel electrolytes cannot well meet requirements of stretchable, multifunctional supercapacitors. Here, we report a hydrogel copolymer cross-linked by double linkers Laponite (synthetic hectorite-type clay) graphene oxide. The resultant shows high mechanical stretchability, excellent ionic conductivity, superior performance. Along with designing wrinkled-structure electrodes, supercapacitors...

Schottky diodes based on (2¯01) β-Ga2O3 substrates and (010) homoepitaxial layers were formed using five different metals: W, Cu, Ni, Ir, Pt. Based a comparison of the effects wet chemical surface treatments Ga2O3 diodes, it was established that treatment with an organic solvent, cleaning HCl H2O2, rinsing deionized water following each step yielded best results. barrier heights calculated from current–voltage (I-V) capacitance–voltage (C-V) measurements selected metals typically in range...

Abstract BACKGROUND To improve the environmental resistance of probiotics, and particularly their survival in gastrointestinal environment, a fish gelatin (FG) / sodium alginate (SA) double network gelation (FSDN) was developed to encapsulate them. Thermal treatment calcium ion inducement were adopted fabricate gels. It feasible scale up this process. The effects FG concentration (0–60 g/L) on FSDN properties, including morphology, water‐holding capacity, encapsulation efficiency evaluated....

Abstract Despite being among the most researched energy storage devices, supercapacitors have often suffered from their relatively low operating voltage and density, which greatly limit practical applications. In this work, asymmetric (ASCs) are developed by synergistically designing carbon nanotube composite electrodes with 3D porous structures. The resultant ASC devices exhibit an extended of 1.8 V, much higher than that symmetric (≤1.0 V). Significantly, obtained deliver ultrahigh...

The influence of ultrasonic processing on the physicochemical characteristics, microstructure, and intermolecular forces hybrid gels obtained by heating mixtures different ratios salted ovalbumin (SOVA)-cooked soybean protein isolate (CSPI) was investigated. With growth SOVA addition, ζ-potential in absolute value, cohesiveness, water-holding capacity (WHC), surface hydrophobicity, content soluble decreased (P < 0.05), while hardness, T2 relaxation time increased 0.05). And compactness...
