The very high need for personal protective equipment (PPE) impacts the waste generated after using these tools. Therefore, to deal with mask during COVID-19 pandemic, this study was carried out on processing of a thermal process and studied how potential effectiveness pandemic. This research conducted Honeymoon Beach by collecting data then measuring proximate, ultimate, calorific value testing TGA Piro GC-MS measurements. Most masks found are non-reusable masks, 94.74%, while reusable...
We present numerical modelling of long-term CO2 storage in saline aquifers using field dataset the Sleipner carbon capture and project offshore Norway. A compositional reservoir simulation model was constructed for an entire section whose thickness is approximately 200 m. used a fine grid system with down to 0.2 m thin intraformational mudrock barriers which can play important role upward migration injected as observed 4D seismic datasets. The threshold capillary pressure vertical...
The catalase reaction has been studied in detail by using myoglobin (Mb) mutants. Compound I of Mb mutants (Mb-I), a ferryl species (Fe(IV)=O) paired with porphyrin radical cation, is readily prepared the nearly stoichiometric amount m-chloroperbenzoic acid. Upon addition H2O2 to an Mb-I solution, reduced back ferric state without forming any intermediates. This indicates that capable performing two-electron oxidation (catalatic reaction). Gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy analysis...
The gasification of a char has, so far, been mainly studied at low temperatures and heating rates, using thermogravimetric analysis. Studies on the in CO2 elevated high rates are necessary to develop integrated coal combined-cycle (IGCC) technology. Coal is very complicated phenomenon, which makes generalized understanding description reactivity important. Using unique fluidized bed, pyrolyzed was investigated. A expression under various conditions approached with modified random pore model...
Low-crystallinity hydroxyapatite (HAP) was prepared from concrete sludge as a recycling method for waste. The HAP model samples of and phosphorus wastewater, its capacity to remove lead water investigated. Lead ions were quickly removed by the particles. Some reduced concentration within Japanese standard industrial effluent (0.1 ppm). removal sludge-derived (506 mg/g) comparable that reagent grade HAP. in form Pb3(CO3)2(OH)2. These results indicate can be applied water.

Cedar and cypress used for wooden construction have high moisture content after harvesting. To be as building materials, they must undergo high-temperature drying. However, this process causes internal cracks that are invisible on the outer surface. These defects serious because reduce strength of timber, i.e., buckling joint durability. Therefore, severity should evaluated. A square timber was cut at an arbitrary position assessed based length, thickness, shape in cross-section; however, is...
The H64D/V68A and H64D/V68S mutants of Myoglobin are found to oxidize thioanisole with high enantioselectivity reactivity. These also capable enantioselective binding α-methylbenzylamine, which mimics an expected sulfoxidation intermediate. kinetic study the amine shows that Fe−O bond cleavage in intermediate may be chiral discrimination step sulfoxidation.
Two new rocaglamide derivatives, 1-O-formylrocagloic acid (1) and 3′-hydroxy rocagloic (2), together with five known compounds, rocaglaol (3), (4), 3′-hydroxymethylrocaglate (5), 1-O-formylmethyl rocaglate (6), methylrocaglate (7), were isolated from the fruits of Amoora cucullata. Their structures elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Compounds 1—3, 6, 7 exhibited potent cytotoxicity against KB, BC, NCI-H187 cell lines, whereas 4 5 showed selective line.
A new lupane caffeoyl ester (1), 3-(Z)-caffeoyllupeol, together with five known triterpenoids, lupeol caffeate (2), 3-(Z)-coumaroyllupeol (3), dioslupecin (4), (5), and lupenone (6), were isolated from the fruits of Bruguiera parviflora. Their structures elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Compound 1 exhibited antimalarial activity an EC50 value 8.6 μg/ml, but compound 2 was inactive.
Abstract The behavior of B, Cr, Se, As, Pb, Cd, and Mo in the leachates generated from two combustion residues, coal‐fired power plant fly ash municipal solid waste incineration ash, during precipitation ettringite is presented. Experiments also were performed using modeled as well controlled solutions containing all investigated elements. Moreover, to determine possible effect pH, lime treatment was conducted leachates. Results indicated removal Cr because incorporation their oxyanions...
