Tuberculous lymphadenitis is the most common form of extra pulmonary tuberculosis and cervical lymph nodes constitute site involvement. Schwannomas are benign neoplasm's arising from Schwann cells. Malignant change is rare.A 42-yearold man presented with a 6-year history of recurrent right sided multinodular scalp lesion.Surgery revealed multiple ovoid masses in lesion. Histology schwannoma.Schwannoma may present as lesions multilobulated lesion and should be considered differential diagnosis.
Neurofibrosarcoma is a malignancy that occurs more frequently in patients with neurofibromatosis- 1 (NF- 1) and rarely may arise independently. This presentation of 3 consecutive histologic diagnosis neurofibrosarcoma who presented to the University Calabar Teaching Hospital, from 2011-2013. Two were associated NF-1 decade younger than one without NF-1. Late poor follow up notable underlying factors. Long term NF -1 for early adequate treatment will improve outcome.
