This review surveys micromachined gyroscope structure and circuitry technology. The principle of gyroscopes is first introduced. Then, different kinds MEMS structures, materials fabrication technologies are illustrated. Micromachined mainly categorized into vibrating (MVGs), piezoelectric (PVGs), surface acoustic wave (SAW) gyroscopes, bulk (BAW) electrostatically suspended (MESGs), magnetically (MSGs), micro fiber optic (MFOGs), fluid (MFGs), atom (MAGs), special gyroscopes. Next, the...

Hydraulic circuits with high speed on/off valve (HSV) for servo control have become commonplace in aerospace. However, the individual that is not volume-optimized results a large total size of hydraulic system, diminishing practicality. To address this issue, high-precision equivalent reluctance model HSV established by employing an magnetic circuit, on which dynamic characteristic HSV, as well effects structural parameters switching behaviour, are investigated. Based model, multi-objective...

In this letter, we proposed an approach to construct multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) channel in line-of-sight (LOS) environment. It could be a potential technique for high-speed data transmission fixed broadband wireless access (BWA). Based on Ricean fading model, our research is focused the characteristics of matrix such as condition number. The initial discussion starts from 4 times MIMO scheme that four antennas formed square array each side. A design constraint antenna arrangement...

Photovoltaic thermal collectors with cooling channels suffers from poor temperature uniformity and high heat loss at radiation intensities. However, traditional are unable to address these specific dissipation requirements. In this research, the photovoltaic/thermal collector within nature-inspired bifurcating tree-like is designed compared parallel channels. A theoretical model for exchange in developed. The system's performance different structural parameters investigated. results indicate...

The current latent heat storage (LHS) units are usually poor in energy charging and discharging efficiency. Given this, a two dimensional (2D) numerical model of the process is presented comprehensively analyzed to predict role metal foam solidification performance LHS units. In model, fractal geometry reconstructed by Brownian motion utilized for pore characterization foam. proposed validated through melting experiment copper foams from reference. temperature dynamic response front...

A new family of microstrip-fed ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas with multiple (triple/quadruple) notched bands is proposed. The are generated by a band filter composed double stepped impedance resonators (SIRs). Through tuning the characteristic and electrical length each section SIRs, as well desired high attenuation can be created in frequencies. Frequency domain measurements have been conducted to examine characteristics proposed antennas. Based on analysis antenna transfer function (S21),...

In this work, self-powered photodetectors (PDs) based on RF magnetron sputtering-fabricated CdS nanorod arrays and polished Si substrates were prepared for the first time. By introducing pyro-phototronic effect of wurtzite CdS, PDs exhibit a broadband response range from UV (365 nm) to IR (1310 at zero bias, even beyond bandgap limit material. Both photoresponsivity specific detectivity are also enhanced by 23.3 times compared with those only photovoltaic effect. addition, rise fall 70 μs 90...
