The present document discusses plans for a compact, next-generation multi-purpose detector at the LHC as follow-up to ALICE experiment. aim is build nearly massless barrel consisting of truly cylindrical layers based on curved wafer-scale ultra-thin silicon sensors with MAPS technology, featuring an unprecedented low material budget 0.05% X$_0$ per layer, innermost possibly positioned inside beam pipe. In addition superior tracking and vertexing capabilities over wide momentum range down few...

We present blast wave fits to elliptic flow [${v}_{2}({p}_{\mathrm{T}})$] data in minimum bias collisions from $\sqrt{{s}_{\mathit{\text{NN}}}}=7.7--200$ GeV at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, and also CERN Large Hadron Collider energy of 2.76 TeV. The are performed separately for particles corresponding antiparticles. mean transverse velocity parameter $\ensuremath{\beta}$ shows an energy-dependent difference between antiparticles, which increases as beam decreases. Possible...

A simultaneous blast-wave fit to particle yields and elliptic flow (${v}_{2}$) measured as a function of transverse momentum in Pb-Pb collisions at energies available the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is presented. compact formula for calculation ${v}_{2}({p}_{\mathrm{T}})$ an freeze-out surface used which follows from Cooper-Frye ansatz without further assumptions. Over full ${p}_{\mathrm{T}}$ range, $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}$ data described by prediction based on lighter particles....

The elliptic flow ($v_{2}$) at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = $ 11.5, 39, and 200 GeV triangular ($v_{3}$) of identified particles ($\pi^{\pm}, K^{\pm}, K^{0}_{S}, p, \bar{p}, \phi, \Lambda$ $\bar{\Lambda}$) from 0\%--80\% central Au+Au collisions are analyzed using a multiphase transport (AMPT) model. It is shown that the experimental results $\eta$-sub event plane method can be reproduced with parton scattering cross section between 1.5 3 mb. We also studied differential integrated $v_{2}/v_{3}$...

The first part of the beam energy scan (BES) program at RHIC was successfully completed in years 2010 and 2011. First STAR results from particle yield measurements are good agreement with previously published data SPS AGS experiments whereas other like azimuthal HBT $K/\pi$ event-by-event fluctuations differ some energies. In addition, new observations centrality dependence chemical freeze-out parameters ($T_{\rm{ch}}$ $\mu_{B}$) or smoothly increasing difference decreasing elliptic flow...
