We analyse the chemical properties of three z~8 galaxies behind galaxy cluster SMACS J0723.3-7327, observed as part Early Release Observations programme James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Exploiting [O III]4363 auroral line detections in NIRSpec spectra, we robustly apply direct Te method for very first time at such high redshift, measuring metallicities ranging from extremely metal poor (12+log(O/H)~7) to about one-third solar. also discuss excitation these sources, and compare them with...

We investigate the presence of ionised gas outflows in a sample 141 main-sequence star-forming galaxies at $1.2<z<2.6$ from KLEVER (KMOS Lensed Emission Lines and VElocity Review) survey. Our covers an exceptionally wide range stellar masses, $8.1<\log(M_\star/M_{\odot})<11.3$, pushing outflow studies into dwarf regime thanks to gravitationally lensed objects. stack optical rest-frame emission lines (H$\beta$, [OIII], H$\alpha$ [NII]) different mass bins seek for tracers by using novel,...

We present near-infrared observations of 42 gravitationally lensed galaxies obtained in the framework KMOS Lensed Emission Lines and VElocity Review (KLEVER) Survey, a program aimed at investigating spatially resolved properties ionised gas 1.2<z<2.5 by means full coverage YJ, H K bands. Detailed metallicity maps gradients are derived for sub-sample 28 from reconstructed source plane emission line maps, exploiting variety different diagnostics provided broad wavelength survey. About 85%...

We present a comparison of the nitrogen-to-oxygen ratio (N/O) in 37 high-redshift galaxies at $z\sim$2 taken from KMOS Lensed Emission Lines and VElocity Review (KLEVER) Survey with sample local galaxies, Sloan Digital Sky (SDSS). The KLEVER shows only mild enrichment N/O $+$0.1 dex when compared to given gas-phase metallicity (O/H), but depletion $-$0.36 fixed stellar mass (M$_*$). find strong anti-correlation between SFR M$_*$-N/O plane, similar O/H found mass-metallicity relation (MZR)....

We investigate which physical properties are most predictive of the position local star forming galaxies on BPT diagrams, by means different Machine Learning (ML) algorithms. Exploiting large statistics from Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), we define a framework in deviation star-forming their median sequence can be described terms relative variations variety observational parameters. train artificial neural networks (ANN) and random forest (RF) trees to predict whether offset above or below...
