The current study was designed to determine the changes of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) expression in blood and tissue during myocardial degeneration calves with foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). Seventeen crossbred presenting pathological signs for FMD confirmed by viral analysis were studied. A biochemistry panel immunohistochemistry performed on 17 diseased 7 used as controls. Creatine kinase (CK), CK-myocardial band (CK-MB), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)...

The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of silymarin on experimental liver toxication induced by Fumonisin B₁1 (FB₁) in BALB/c mice. mice were divided into six groups (n = 15). Group 1 served as control. 2 control (100 mg/kg gavage). Groups 3 and 4 treated with FB₁ (Group 3, 1.5 FB₁, intraperitoneally; 4, 4.5 FB₁). 5 received (1.5 mg/kg) mg/kg), 6 given a higher dose (4.5 FB₁) mg/kg). Silymarin treatment significantly decreased (p < 0.0001) apoptotic rate. FB1...

Uterine tissue was collected from bitches after ovariohysterectomy at different times ovulation. Samples were assigned to four groups: metestrous non-pregnant, day 10-12, n = 4; pre-implantation, 9; post-implantation, 18-25, 13; mid-gestation, 30-40, 7. RT-qPCR detection performed for kiss1 and the G protein-coupled receptor 54 (GPR54, specific kisspeptin). In addition, immunohistochemistry of kisspeptin-10 (KP-10), GPR54, as well pan-cytokeratin vimentin. The latter two included...

Abstract The main challenges in treating cancer using chemotherapeutics are insufficient dose at the target site and development of drug resistance, while higher doses can induce side effects by damaging nontarget tissues. Combinatorial therapy may overcome these limitations permitting lower more specific targeting, thereby mitigating resistance effects. Recent reports indicate that nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) have anticancer potential be used together with conventional to...

Summary In animals and man, some forms of cutaneous papillomas are caused by papillomaviruses. Twelve different genotypes bovine papillomavirus (BPV) have been identified. BPV-1 through BPV-12 all strictly species-specific. BPV-2 associated with fibropapillomas in cattle; these tumors formed excessive proliferation virus-infected dermal fibroblasts epidermal keratinocytes. the present study well known diagnostic procedures including histopathological, immunohistochemical molecular methods...

White muscle disease (WMD) is a world-wide nutritional of all animal species characterised by degeneration skeletal and cardiac muscles. In the present study we determined troponin I (cTnI) inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression in hearts lambs with WMD (n = 15). Eight clinically healthy served as control. Creatine kinase (CK), creatine MB (CK-MB), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activities were analysed for both groups. cTnI levels measured...
