We perform an analysis of the $b\to cτν$ data, including $R(D^{(*)})$, $R(J/ψ)$, $P_τ(D^{*})$ and $F_L^{D^*}$, within beyond Standard Model (SM). fit $B\to D^{(*)}$ hadronic form factors in HQET parametrization to lattice light-cone sum rule (LCSR) results, applying general strong unitarity bounds corresponding $J^P=1^-$, $1^+$, $0^-$ $0^+$. Using obtained relations between helicity amplitudes, we give on individual which can be used BGL fits. fitted taking into account most recent Belle...
We construct a weakly coupled renormalizable model to explain the 750 GeV diphoton excess. The resonance [denoted as X(750)] is interpreted pseudoscalar coming from complex singlet. also naturally provides dark matter candidate. One of most attractive feature that decays X(750) are all loop induced, so rate not diluted by unwanted tree level branching fractions. Relevant Yukawa interactions need be tuned near-nonperturbative region rate. highly predictive, including nature and two nearly...
We analyze CP-violating effects in both Electric Dipole Moment (EDM) measurements and future analyses at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) assuming a Two-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) with "soft" CP-violation. Our analysis of EDMs current LHC constraints shows that, case 2HDM Type II III, an $\mathcal{O}(0.1)$ phase Yukawa interaction between $H_1$ (the $125~\textrm{GeV}$ Higgs boson) fermions is still allowed. For these scenarios, we study neutron EDM $t\bar{t}H_1$ production LHC. that such can...
A bstract We study the origin of global B − L symmetry in a class flavor-unified theories with gauge groups SU( N ≥ 6). In particular, we focus on SU(8) theory which can minimally embed three-generational SM fermions non-trivially. reformulation third law for flavor sector proposed by Georgi is useful to manifest underlying symmetries. The ’t Hooft anomaly matching and generalized neutrality conditions Higgs fields play key roles defining symmetry. Based symmetry, count that develop VEVs...
A bstract We study the renormalizable group equations (RGEs) of extended strong and weak gauge couplings in an SU(8) theory, where three-generational SM fermions are non-trivially embedded. This framework was previously found to generate observed quark/lepton mass hierarchies Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa mixing pattern through its maximally breaking pattern. The field theoretical two-loop RGEs can not achieve coupling unification with minimal setup, unless additional adjoint Higgs fields as...
We proposed a mechanism in which the lightness of Higgs boson and smallness charge parity ($CP$) violation are correlated based on Lee model, namely, spontaneous $CP$-violation two-Higgs-doublet model. In this mass lightest ${m}_{h}$ as well quantities $K$ $J$ $\ensuremath{\propto}{t}_{\ensuremath{\beta}}{s}_{\ensuremath{\xi}}$ limit ${t}_{\ensuremath{\beta}}{s}_{\ensuremath{\xi}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}0$ (see text for definitions ${t}_{\ensuremath{\beta}}$ $\ensuremath{\xi}$), $CP$...
There is no tree-level flavor changing neutral current (FCNC) in the standard model (SM) which contains only one Higgs doublet. If more doublets are introduced for various reasons, tree level FCNC would be inevitable except extra symmetry was imposed. Therefore processes excellent probes physics beyond SM (BSM). In this paper, we studied lepton violated (LFV) decay $h\rightarrow\mu\tau$ and $\tau\rightarrow\mu\gamma$ induced by Higgs-$\mu$-$\tau$ vertex. For $\tau\rightarrow\mu\gamma$, its...
The origins of Standard Model (SM) quark/lepton masses and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) mixing pattern are described in an ${\rm SU}(8)$ theory, where three-generational SM fermions transform differently. A realistic symmetry breaking with three intermediate scales is described, along which all vectorlike electrically charged become massive. set $d=5$ operators that explicitly break emergent global symmetries analyzed to generate observed mass hierarchies as well CKM pattern. All...
A bstract The observed Standard Model (SM) quark/lepton mass hierarchies and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) mixing pattern are described in an SU(8) theory through its realistic symmetry breaking with three intermediate stages, which rely on a set of d = 5 gravity-induced operators that break emergent global symmetries chiral fermion sector, as well precise identifications all non-trivially embedded SM flavors.
We propose a model-independent method to test $CP$ violation in the scalar sector through measuring inclusive cross sections of ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}Z{h}_{1},Z{h}_{2},{h}_{1}{h}_{2}$ processes with recoil mass technique, where ${h}_{1}$, ${h}_{2}$ stand for 125 GeV standard model-like Higgs boson and new lighter scalar, respectively. This effectively measures quantity $K$ proportional product three couplings ${h}_{1}ZZ,{h}_{2}ZZ,{h}_{1}{h}_{2}Z$ vertices. The...
Based on the weakly-coupled two-Higgs-doublet model with spontaneous CP-violation (named Lee model) and mechanism to generate correlation between smallness of lightness scalar mass, as we proposed earlier, predicted a light CP-mixing $\eta$ in which pseudoscalar component is dominant. It natural scenario $m_{\eta}\sim\mathcal{O}(10\textrm{GeV})\ll v$. Masses all other scalars ($h$, $H$, $H^\pm$) should be around electro-weak scale $v$. Among them, 125 GeV Higgs ($h$) couplings are...
The issue of deriving $ZH\ensuremath{\eta}$ vertex in the simplest little Higgs (SLH) model is revisited. Special attention paid to treatment noncanonically-normalized scalar kinetic matrix and vector-scalar two-point transitions. We elucidate a general procedure diagonalize system gauge theories apply it case SLH. resultant found be different from those which have already existed literature for long time. also present an understanding this effective field theory viewpoint.
We proposed the spontaneous CP-violation in Simplest Little Higgs model. In this model, pseudoscalar field can acquire a nonzero vacuum expected value. It leads to mixing between two scalars with different CP-charge, which means happens. is also connection composite mechanism and CP-violation. Facing experimental constraints, model still alive for both scenarios extra scalar appears below or around electro-weak scale. discussed future collider tests on sector through measuring $h_2ZZ$...

Because of the difficulty in detecting final state taus, mixing parameter $|{V}_{\ensuremath{\tau}N}{|}^{2}$ for heavy neutrino $N$ is not well studied at current experiments, compared with other parameters $|{V}_{eN}{|}^{2}$ and $|{V}_{\ensuremath{\mu}N}{|}^{2}$. In this paper, we focus on a challenging scenario where mixes active tau flavor only, i.e., $|{V}_{\ensuremath{\tau}N}{|}^{2}\ensuremath{\ne}0$ $|{V}_{eN}{|}^{2}=|{V}_{\ensuremath{\mu}N}{|}^{2}=0$. We derive constraints from rare...
In models where the Higgs is realized as a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (pNGB) of some global symmetry breaking, there are often remaining pNGBs $U(1)$ groups (called ``pseudoaxions'') which could lead to smoking-gun signatures such scenarios and provide important clues on electroweak breaking mechanism. As concrete example, we investigate phenomenology pseudoaxion in anomaly-free simplest little (SLH) model. After clarifying subtle issue related effect symmetric vector-scalar-scalar...
We analyze the scalar potential of Simplest Little Higgs (SLH) model in an approach consistent with spirit continuum effective field theory (CEFT). By requiring correct electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) $125\,\text{GeV}$ boson, we are able to derive a relation between pseudo-axion mass $m_\eta$ and heavy top $m_T$, which serves as crucial test SLH mechanism. $m_\eta^2>0$ upper bound on $m_T$ can be obtained for any fixed global scale $f$. also point out that absolute $f$ by imposing...
