Coleophora meridiogallica sp. n., a new species detected as result of DNA study, is described and compared with C. meridionella Rebel, 1912 which it was confused. The whose larvae feed on Silene saxifraga known only from few departments southeastern France.
The paper deals with ten species of Afrotropical Coleophoridae from South Africa and Swaziland. For one previously described species, Coleophora halmodes Meyrick, 1911 a lectotype is designated the genitalia are illustrated for first time. Nine new Hübner, 1822 described: C. stenoptera, sp. nov., swaziella, armata, suavis, venusta, hirtella, deinosella, intorta, leptella, nov.

A checklist 71 currently known for Africa is provided.
Eight new species of the genus Coleophora Hübner, 1822 are described: kenyaensis sp. nov., C. vansoni elegans namaqua kamiesella kunenensis creola and hirsutella nov. The genitalia three previously described illustrated for first time: niphocrossa Meyrick, 1920, enchitis 1920 textoria 1921. larval case is data about its biology given.
A new species of the genus Coleophora Hübner, 1822, C. oreiosella Baldizzone, sp. n., known to be found only in Sierra Nevada, Spain, is described. New data on distribution some European are provided. The male depunctella Toll, 1961, shown for first time.
Coleophoranepetellae Baldizzone & Nel, sp. n. is described from the southern Alps (Italy and France). It belongs to Coleophoralixella species group. Its host plants are Nepetanepetella L. (Lamiaceae) an unidentified Poaceae. The fifth instar larva, its case, adult habitus, genitalia illustrated. compared Coleophoranevadella Baldizzone, 1985, here newly confirmed France whose larvae feed on Nepetalatifolia DC. in Eastern Pyrénées. DNA barcodes shown be distinct congruent with morphological...
The work describes Coleophora santonici Baldizzone & Takács, sp. nov., a species bred from Artemisia santonicum L., 1753 (Asteraceae) in Hungary. new belongs to the C. ptarmicia Walsingham, 1910 group based on shared features of genitalia, and is most similar santolinella Constant, 1890. Biological data life cycle, larval case habitats are provided illustrated. COI barcode sequences were also obtained for loaded into BOLD System NCBI gene bank.

Coleophora elea Baldizzone & Huemer, sp. nov., is described based on specimens collected from the Peloponnese peninsula (Greece). This species closely related to C. oriolella Zeller, 1849, but it differs in external appearance and characters of male female genitalia. Additionally, two are genetically distinct as evidenced by a p-distance approximately 4% between their DNA barcodes (cytochrome c-oxidase subunit 1). Adult genitalia both illustrated for comparative purposes.
