Noble metal/semiconductor nanocomposites play an important role in high efficient photocatalysis. Herein, we demonstrate a facile strategy for fabrication of hollow Pt-ZnO nanocomposite microspheres with hierarchical structure under mild solvothermal conditions using Zn (CH3COO)2·2H2O and HPtCl4 as the precursors, polyethylene glycol-6000 (PEG-6000) ethylene glycol reducing agent solvent, respectively. The as-synthesized ZnO composite nanocrystals were well characterized by powder X-ray...
Trace Ag2CO3 (0.5%, 1%, 2%, and 4%) was loaded on commercial TiO2 crystals by a facile precipitation method. The obtained Ag2CO3/TiO2 composites were characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), photoelectron (XPS), photolimunescence (PL) spectroscopy, UV–vis diffuse reflectance (DRS). Under UV light (λ = 254 nm) or visible irradiation, the photocatalytic performance of samples tested in degradation...
Boron doped Sn3O4 microspheres constructed from nanoplates with an unexpected synergistic effect upon simultaneous removal of phenols and Cr(vi) in simulated wastewater.
Three-dimensional crumpled graphene (PRGO) was synthesized from oxide (GO) solution by the spay drying method and employed as support material for Pd catalyst. Compared with commercial Pd/C Pd/RGO catalysts, as-prepared Pd/PRGO catalyst exhibits excellent activity stability towards formic acid electrooxidation.
Employing upconversion hosts and plasmonic Au, this work deals with the synthesis of a novel heterojunction via hydrothermal followed by photo-reduction method.
