Cisplatin, a commonly used cancer chemotherapeutic, has dose-limiting side effect of nephrotoxicity. Approximately 30% patients administered cisplatin suffer from kidney injury, and there are limited treatment options for the cisplatin-induced injury. Suramin, which is Federal Drug Administration-approved trypanosomiasis, improves function after various forms injury in rodent models. We hypothesized that suramin would attenuate Suramin before administration reduced decreases Furthermore,...

Differentiating optic disc edema (ODE) from pseudo (PODE) continues to pose a diagnostic dilemma. Current report highlights the role of multicolor imaging (MC) in differentiating ODE PODE. Composite images show greenish hyperreflectance that extends beyond margins with irregular blurry and obscured vasculature whereas PODE shows clear distinct well delineated vasculature. MC adds present armamentarium modalities obviating needless neurological evaluation mandatory case true edema.
