We present a systematic study of both the temperature and frequency dependence optical response in TaAs, material that has recently been realized to host Weyl semimetal state. Our reveals conductivity TaAs features narrow Drude alongside conspicuous linear on frequency. The width peak decreases upon cooling, following $T^{2}$ which is expected for semimetals. Two components with distinct slopes dominate 5-K conductivity. A comparison between our experimental results theoretical calculations...
Photo-generated dynamics have been extensively studied in two-dimensional (2D) heterostructures, such as MoSe2/WSe2 and MoSe2/MoS2. Here, we fabricate few-layer PbI2 monolayer MoSe2 van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures. The excited-wavelength dependent measurements of photoluminescence (PL) transient dynamic absorption spectra show that there is almost no photo-generated charge transfer between MoSe2. PL changes are rather dominated by the Fermi level (EF) modulation through interlayer...
Oceanic facilities and equipment corrosion present considerable economic safety concerns, predominantly due to microbial corrosion. Early detection of corrosive microbes is pivotal for effective monitoring prevention. Yet, traditional methods often lack specificity, require extensive processing time, yield inaccurate results. Hence, the need an efficient real-time microbe technology evident. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a widely distributed microorganism in aquatic environments, utilizes its...
