The dramatic and distinctive color changes induced upon the addition of fluoride, chloride, or dihydrogen phosphate ions (A−) to solutions calix[4]pyrroles bearing anthraquinone moieties attached through a conjugating ethyndiyl linker (see picture) in dichloromethane allow presence these anionic substrates be determined by simple visual means.
Despite tremendous progress in optoelectronic devices using lead perovskite (CH3NH3(+)PbI3(-)), there has been a paucity of mechanistic information on how photoactive micron-sized crystals grow from mixture layered crystal lead(II) iodide and methylammonium mediated by polar solvent, DMSO or DMF. We report here that the whole process synthesis consists series equilibria driven reversible solvent participation involving polymeric strip plumbate(II) oligomer as key intermediate. A significant...
Lead (II) perovskite (PV, e.g., CH3NH3PbI3–xClx) with 3 wt% polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) produces an ≈90 nm film containing a PVP–PV composite consisting of ≈15-nm-sized PV nanocrystals. Solar cells using have several advantages over device nondoped PV, which include increase in transparency, stability the film, efficiency, and reproducibility.
Lead perovskite materials such as methylammonium triiodoplumbate(II) (CH3NH3PbI3, PV) are promising for printable solar cell (SC) applications. The preparation of PV involves a series energetically costly cleavages the μ-iodo bridges via conversion mixture PbI2 (PI) and iodide (CH3NH3I, MAI) in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) into precursor solution containing polymeric strip plumbate(II) dimer [(MA+)2(PbI3–)2·(DMF)2]m, which then produces film with loss DMF upon spin-coating heating substrate....
Solar cells made of lead perovskite crystals have attracted much attention for their high performance, but far less as a subject crystal engineering. Here, we report that citric acid (CA) and chloride anion, working together, modulate growth CH3NH3PbI3, producing sub-mm-sized cuboid crystals—a morphology more suitable close packing in thin film than the commonly observed elongated dodecahedral morphology. By using 15 wt % CA-doped precursor solution, formed single layer large, flat, oriented...
Polytriarylamine is a popular hole-transporting materials (HTMs) despite its suboptimal conductivity and significant recombination at the interface in solar cell setup. Having noted insufficient conjugation among triarylamine units along polymer backbone, we inserted bithiophene unit between two through iron-catalyzed C-H/C-H coupling of triarylamine/thiophene monomer so that conjugate effectively via four quinoidal rings when molecule functions as HTM. The obtained triarylamine/bithiophene...
n-Type doping of a polymeric electron-transporting layer in perovskite solar cell doubles the performance device.
The oxidized octaethyltetraphenylporphyrin (1, OETPP) and the corresponding newly prepared octaisobutyltetraphenylporphyrin (3, OisoBuTPP) could be isolated from reaction of OETPPLi2 (or OisoBuTPPLi2) with SOCl2. X-ray analysis characteristic UV-vis spectra 1 3 revealed that these are first examples 16 pi nonaromatic porphyrins.
Comprehensive situational awareness is paramount to the effectiveness of proprietary navigational and higher-level functions intelligent vehicles. In this paper, we address a graph-based approach for 2D road representation 3D point clouds with respect topography. We employ gradient cues geometry construct Markov Random Filed (MRF) implement an efficient belief propagation (BP) algorithm classify environment into four categories, i.e. reachable region, drivable obstacle region unknown region....
An internal monostandard method is proposed for the nondestructive determination of major elements in large samples by prompt γ ray neutron activation analysis. It successfully overcomes problems characteristic samples, such as absorption and scattering incident neutrons emitted rays. In order to make this understood theoretically, an equation presented its validity analysis discussed. principle, gives relative contents solid whereas it allows absolute solution form. As a demonstration...
Formation of anionic fluoride-complexes element 104, rutherfordium, produced in the 248 Cm( 18 O,5 n ) 261 Rf reaction was studied by anion-exchange on an atom-at-a-time scale. It found that hexafluoro complex Rf, [RfF 6 ] 2− , formed fluoride ion concentrations 0.0005–0.013 M. significantly different from homologues Zr and Hf, [ZrF [HfF ; evaluated formation constant is at least one-order magnitude smaller than those .
Printable electronics typically employ amorphous materials for layer uniformity, yet incorporating crystalline substances can significantly enhance device performance due to their superior carrier mobility. The implementation of interdigitated structures facilitates increased injection and extraction while reducing transport paths, thus ele-vating efficiency. This research addresses the challenges associated with molecular design, assembly, orientation control on indium tin oxide substrates,...
Muon spin relaxation/rotation/resonance ( $$\varvec{\mu \textrm{SR}}$$ ) method is one of the most effective experimental methods and has been used in many fields such as material science, chemical, bioscience since 1970s. For next elevation , we developed positron detectors that have a spatial resolution them trackers so could construct an image sample. Demonstrative experiments were performed at TRIUMF sample was successfully reconstructed.

Abstract HPLC behaviors of metallofullerenes 14 lanthanoid elements were studied by use radiotracers, and the species some identified mass spectroscopy. From elution behaviors, forming found to be grouped into two, namely, Sm, Eu, Tm Yb as one group rest another. Some new like La@C74, M@Cn (M=Eu, Tm, Yb; n=74, 82, 84, 88, 90, 92, 94) have been identified. The observed retention times are discussed in terms number carbon atoms cage from consideration electron donor acceptor relation between...
Summary Chemical studies on element 104, rutherfordium (Rf), at JAERI (Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute) are reviewed. The transactinide nuclide 261 Rf has been produced in the reaction 248 Cm( 18 O, 5 n ) tandem accelerator with production cross section of about 13 nb. On-line anion-exchange experiments together lighter homologues, group-4 elements Zr and Hf, acidic solutions have conducted a rapid ion-exchange separation apparatus. From systematic study behavior Rf, it found that...
Dynamic motion of $\mathrm{Ce}{\mathrm{C}}_{82}$ in the forms powder and $o$-dichlorobenzene solution is discussed based on time-differential perturbed angular correlation measurements. The observed correlations show presence two different chemical species $\mathrm{Ce}{\mathrm{C}}_{82}$. temperature dependence reorientational time abruptly changes at specific temperatures, implying freezing molecular rotation. data low temperatures reveal that Ce stays a certain site for one species, whereas...
The extraction behavior of rutherfordium (Rf) into tributylphosphate (TBP) from hydrochloric acid (HCl) has been studied together with those the lighter group-4 elements Zr and Hf. extractability 261 Rf, 169 Hf, 85 TBP was investigated under identical conditions in 7.2–8.0 M HCl by on-line reversed-phase chromatography. percent extractions resin increase steeply increasing concentration, order is > Hf ≈ Rf. By considering chloride complexation among these elements, it suggested that...
