A crossover with decreasing temperature $T$ from localized moment magnetism to heavy Fermi liquid behavior is reported for the metallic compound ${\mathrm{LiV}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{4}$ fcc normal-spinel structure. We have performed muon spin relaxation measurements of the frustrated kagom\'e lattice system Sr${\mathrm{Cr}}_{8}$${\mathrm{Ga}}_{4}$${\mathrm{O}}_{19}$. Our results demonstrate slowing down Cr fluctuations when cooling toward susceptibility-cusp temperature ${T}_{g}\ensuremath{\sim}3.5$ K. The saturation rate below ${T}_{g}$, together with its weak dependence on longitudinal field (LF) between 0 and 2 kG, indicates presence dynamic persisting even at $T\ensuremath{\sim}100$ mK without...

We investigated the optical spectrum of Ba(Fe1-xCox)2As2 single crystals with various doping levels. It is found that low-energy conductivity this system can be decomposed into two components: a sharp Drude term and broad "incoherent" term. For compounds showing magnetic order, gap appears predominantly in component, while an s-wave like superconducting opens both components for highly doped compounds. The weight steadily increases as proceeds, consistent electron system. On other hand,...

The spin dynamics of geometrically frustrated pyrochlore antiferromagnets Y2Mo2O7 and Tb2Mo2O7 have been investigated using muon relaxation. A dramatic slowing down the moment fluctuations occurs as one approaches freezing temperatures (TF=22 K 25 respectively) from above. Below TF there is a disordered magnetic state similar to that found in glass but with residual relaxation rate at low temperatures. These results show large density states for excitations these systems near zero energy.

We report the first observation of multilayer band splitting in optimally doped trilayer cuprate Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O(10+δ) (Bi2223) by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. The observed energy bands and Fermi surfaces are originated from outer inner CuO2 planes (OP IP). OP is overdoped with a large d-wave gap around node Δ0∼43 meV while IP underdoped an even Δ0∼60 meV. These gaps much larger than those for same doping level double-layer cuprates, which leads to Tc Bi2223. propose possible...
