Novel Co3O4 quasi-cubes with layered structure were obtained via two-step synthetic procedures. The precursors initially prepared hydrothermal reaction in the presence of egg albumin, and then directly annealed at 300 °C air to be converted into pure powders. It was found that size morphology final products greatly influenced by amount albumin durations, respectively.
