平成17年度, 新生児聴覚スクリーニングより精査目的に紹介された50例について, 受診前後の診断過程, 結果を検討した。50例中, 両側難聴が22例, うち21例が補聴器装用となった。一側難聴は19例, 両側正常が9例であった。診断方法は月齢, 紹介元の検査結果などに応じてBOA・COR・DPOAE・ABR/ASSRを組み合わせて行い, 高度難聴ではおおよそ6ヵ月, 中等度難聴では8.2ヵ月で補聴器装用となった。
本研究では，抗酸化成分（ゴマリグナン類およびビタミンE）を有するゴマに着目し，すりゴマの給与が肥育後期豚の発育と肉質に及ぼす影響を調査するため2つの実験を実施した。実験1では，LWD豚12頭を6頭ずつ（去勢3頭·雌3頭）2区に分け，対照区飼料（トウモロコシ80%含有）およびすりゴマ区飼料（トウモロコシ77%，すりゴマ3%含有）を給与して，体重66kgから114kgまでの肥育試験を行った。実験2では，LWD豚12頭を6頭ずつ（去勢3頭·雌3頭）2区に分け，対照区飼料（トウモロコシ40%，飼料用玄米40%含有）およびすりゴマ区飼料（トウモロコシ37%，飼料用玄米40%，すりゴマ3%含有）を給与して，体重64kgから110kgまでの肥育試験を行った。実験1，2共に，飼育期間中の増体や飼料摂取量に有意な差は認められなかった。と畜解体後に胸最長筋を採取し，豚肉の理化学特性の分析を行ったところ，実験1，2共にすりゴマ区の豚において背部内層脂肪中のリノール酸の割合が有意に高くなり（P<0.05），γ-トコフェロール量が増加した（P<0.05）。また実験1では，すりゴマを給与した全頭の豚で，背部...
症例は77歳の男性で，意識障害・ショックを主訴に救急搬送された．精査中に血圧低下を来し，CTにて盲腸から上行結腸にかけて造強効果の減弱を伴う浮腫性壁肥厚を認め非閉塞性腸間膜虚血症（non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia；以下，NOMIと略記）が疑われた．腸管壊死が否定できなかったことより開腹術を施行した．盲腸と上行結腸には虚血を認めるものの壊死を認めなかったため切除は行わずに閉腹した．術後ただちに血管造影検査を行い，上腸間膜動脈からの塩酸パパベリン選択的動注療法を開始した．術翌日には上腸間膜血流は著明な改善を認めた．血管拡張薬の持続動注療法導入を前提として術式決定を行ったNOMIの報告はまれであり報告する．
