Given the accelerating global movement towards decarbonization, importance of promoting renewable energy (RE) adoption and ensuring efficient transactions in markets is increasing worldwide. However, sources, including photovoltaic (PV) systems, are subject to output fluctuations due weather conditions, requiring large-scale backup power balance supply demand. This makes trading electricity from PV systems connected existing grid challenging. To address this, peer-to-peer (P2P) where...

The slow cycling main ring synchrotron (MR) is located the furthest downstream in J-PARC accelerator cascade. It became available for user operation 2009 and provides high-intensity 30 GeV proton beams various experiments on particle nuclear physics. MR has two beam extraction systems: a fast system delivery to neutrino line of Tokai-to-Kamioka (T2K) experiment hadron experimental hall. After nine-month shutdown during recovery from Great East Japan Earthquake, facility resumed December...

Power consumption in unbaffled and baffled agitated vessels with propeller pfaudler type impellers is measured over a wide range of Reynolds numbers from laminar to turbulent flow regions. The power correlation for the derived modification previously proposed paddle impeller. calculated values agree well experimental ones, same can be applied both impellers.

Peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading is gaining attention as a technology to effectively handle already existing distributed resources (DER). In order manage large number of DER, it necessary increase the P2P participants. For that, designing incentives for participants engage in important. This paper describes user-centric cooperative mechanism that enhances user participation trading. The key components this incentive are described and evaluated study. goal proposal make possible conduct...

To further implement decentralized renewable energy resources, blockchain based peer-to-peer (P2P) trading is gaining attention and its architecture has been proposed with virtual demonstrations. In this paper, to socially concept, a peer system which could coordinate control hardware was constructed, demonstration experiment conducted. Previous work focused on virtually matching supply demand via P2P markets, our pushes forward by demonstrating the possibility of actual flow control....

An optical diffraction study has been made of electron micrographs extended sheaths pyocin R. It demonstrated that the sheath consists annuli six subunits, which are arranged in a helix 3.57 per one turn. The annulus repeat direction is 35A. dimensions and probably helical parameters R different from those T4 phage tail, but structural correlation appears to exist between tail.

A compact multifunctional optical correlator system for pulse width measurement of ultrashort ultraviolet (UV) pulses has been designed and experimentally demonstrated. Both autocorrelation cross-correlation functions are measured using a single nonlinear crystal, the switching between two measurements requires no adjustment phase matching detector. The can measure UV widths from sub-picoseconds to 100 ps, it involves auxiliary in measurement. results on burst-mode picosecond laser show...

Mixing patterns generated in stirred vessels for a wide range of Reynolds numbers were observed using decolorization method based on the reaction between sodium thiosulfate and iodine. A relationship was established power number diagram (NP–Re diagram) shape isolated zone observed. At low (laminar regime), resembled doughnut ring, while cylindrically rotating at high (turbulent regime). Even with small change number, doughnut-ring-shaped suddenly changed to an unbaffled vessel. Abstract A fully‐printed organic thin‐film transistor (OTFT) array (30times30) and integrated circuits including logic ring oscillator based on pseudo‐CMOS inverter were fabricated plastic film substrates by using printing methods. The printed OTFT exhibited excellent, uniform performance with a high mobility of 2 cm /Vs. flip‐flop circuit operated well delay time 3.5 ms. three‐stage at 400 Hz 40V. These fabrication techniques are applicable to flexible displays, RFID tags biosensors.

Ultraviolet (UV) light irradiation to colorless anatase titanium dioxide single crystals at 100–30 K gives rise the appearance of sextuplets in electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra. The are due photogenerated holes trapped an equatorial oxygen adjacent impurity aluminum located a substitutional site titanium. EPR measurement depending on crystalline orientation reveals that principal axes matrices for sextuplet slightly different from axes. Photoinduced persist below 80 dark....
