Large-scale computer network attacks in their final stages can readily be identified by observing very abrupt changes the traffic. In early stage of an attack, however, these are hard to detect and difficult distinguish from usual traffic fluctuations. Rapid response, a minimal false-alarm rate, capability wide spectrum crucial features intrusion detection systems. this paper, we develop efficient adaptive sequential batch-sequential methods for that lead traffic, such as denial-of-service...

We compare several decentralized change-point detection procedures for multisensor distributed systems when the information available decision-making is across a set of sensors. Asymptotically optimal two scenarios are presented. In first scenario, sensors send quantized versions their observations to fusion center where change performed based on all sensor messages. If in particular, quantizers binary, then proposed binary CUSUM test class tests with data. second perform local using and...

This study deals with one of the most important issues for understanding financial markets, future asset fluctuations. Predicting direction fluctuations accurately is very difficult due to uncertainty stock market, influence various economic indicators, and sentiment investors, etc. In this study, we present a new method improve effectiveness machine learning by selecting appropriate training data using an adaptive method. The application sector S&P 500 many methods shows that proposed...

We develop a multi-dimensional local average lattice method in order to compute efficiently and accurately the price of multivariate contingent claims. The proposed improves accuracy standard by considering averages option prices around each node at final time, rather than nodes. value smooths oscillatory behavior method, which leads fast convergence values. Numerical computations show that is more efficient other methods for given level accuracy.

In this paper, we describe the application procedure of adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) for weighted essentially non-oscillatory schemes (WENO), and observe effects derived algorithm when problems have piecewise smooth solutions containing discontinuities. We find numerically that dissipation WENO scheme can be lessened by implementation AMR while accuracy is maintained. deduce from experiments AMR-implemented captures shocks more efficiently than method using uniform grids.

The paper is concerned with efficient computation of numerical solutions to Burger′s equation random initial conditions. When the Lax‐Wendroff scheme (LW) expanded using Wiener chaos expansion (WCE), and deterministic effects can be separated we obtain a system equations respect Hermite‐Fourier coefficients. One important property that all statistical moments solution computed only. Thus LW WCE presents an alternative computing by Monte Carlo method (MC). It has been numerically demonstrated...

In this paper, we propose a new hardware-efficient ML decoding algorithm for spatial modulation scheme which is basically constructed by serially concatenating maximum-ratio receive combiners with traditional slicers. With respect to complex multiplications, the has greatly reduced complexity compared conventional one, especially, higher-order modulation. This mainly because of slicer practically negligible without regard order.
