Abstract Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is a genetic disease associated with ectopic expression of the DUX4 gene in skeletal muscle. Muscle degeneration FSHD accompanied by muscle tissue replacement fat and connective tissue. Expression myoblasts stimulates mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) migration via CXCR4‐CXCL12 axis.
