Two-dimensional (2D) intrinsic ferromagnets with high Curie temperature ( TC) are desirable for spintronic applications. Using systematic first-principles calculations, we investigate the electronic and magnetic properties of 22 monolayer 2D materials layered bulk phases. From these candidates, screen out five ferromagnetic belonging to three types structures: type i (ScCl, YCl, LaCl), ii (LaBr2), iii (CrSBr). Type is a kind metallic material, whereas LaBr2 CrSBr small-bandgap semiconductors...

Novel, high-efficiency, and halogen-free flame retardants with reactive groups, casein-based FRs, were synthesized based on a casein hydrolysis solution for cotton fabrics. After treated by the fabrics exhibited high-efficiency retardancy; limiting oxygen index (LOI) of fabric increased to 39.5%. Compared other nature retardants, novel could impart durable retardancy The LOI value sustain at 26.7% after 40 laundering cycles (LCs). Cone calorimetry vertical burning test confirmed that FRs...

Abstract The concept of altermagnet (AM), which is neither ferromagnet nor antiferromagnet, has recently been proposed as compensated collinear magnet. Among 2D non‐van der Waals crystals, one the thinnest altermagnets identified and their interesting physical phenomenon at limit investigated. According to symmetry analysis first‐principles calculations, FeX (X = S, Se) sheets with one‐unit‐cell thickness are intrinsic altermagnetic semiconductors observable magnitude spin splitting (103−193...

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are extensively applied for their broad-spectrum and excellent antibacterial ability in recent years. Polydopamine (PDA) has great advantages synthesizing large amounts of AgNPs, as it multiple sites silver ion binding phenolic hydroxyl structure to reduce ions AgNPs. Here, we mixed sericin agar solution dried at 65 °C prepare a (SS)/Agar composite film, then coated polydopamine on the surface SS/Agar film by soaking into solution, subsequently high-density AgNPs...

Developing eco-friendly durable flame-retardant cotton fabric not only expands its application area, but also caters to the healthy and environmentally friendly concept of consumers. Herein, a reactive P/S/N-containing synergistic flame retardant (PSN) was synthesized prepare through chemical modifying method. Flame-retardant finishing deteriorated softness, whiteness, tensile strength air permeability fabric. PSN conferred outstanding retardancy, fire safety durability For treated with...

Silk sericin is a protein from silkworm’s cocoon. It has good biocompatibility, hydrophilicity, bioactivity, and biodegradability. However, could not be used in biomedical materials directly because of its frangible characteristic. To develop multifunctional sericin-based for purposes, we prepared sericin/agar (SS/agar) composite film through the blending agar repetitive freeze-thawing. Then, synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) situ on surface to endow it with antibacterial activity....

Sericin is a biomaterial resource for its significant biodegradability, biocompatibility, hydrophilicity, and reactivity. Designing material with superabsorbent, antiseptic, non-cytotoxic wound dressing properties advantageous to reduce infection promote healing. Herein, we propose an environment-friendly strategy obtain interpenetrating polymer network gel through blending sericin agarose freeze-drying. The physicochemical characterizations of the sericin/agarose including morphology,...
