Abstract Selective hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanone over a catalyst polyaniline‐functionalized carbon‐nanofiber‐supported palladium (Pd‐PANI/CNF) with sodium formate as the hydrogen source has been studied. A rapid and facile synthesis method for rod-like ordered mesoporous carbon material (OMC) was developed, in which the phenolic resin used as source precursor solution of SBA-15 employed a hard-template. This new skipped several processes related to preparation SBA-15.
