Molybdate-based inorganic–organic hybrid disks with a highly ordered layered structure were synthesized via an acid–base reaction of white molybdic acid (MoO3·H2O) n-octylamine (C8H17NH2) in ethanol at room temperature. The thermal treatment the as-obtained molybdate-based 550 °C air led to formation orthorhombic α-MoO3 nanoplates. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), analysis (TG–DTA), Fourier-transform infrared (FT–IR) spectra, Raman and...

Using machine learning models, this study innovatively introduces multi-element compositions to optimize the performance of spinel refractories. A total 1120 samples were fabricated at 1600 °C for 2 h, and an experimental database containing 112 data points was constructed. High-throughput predictions verifications conducted, identifying sample with highest hardness, (Al2Fe0.25Zn0.25Mg0.25Mn0.25)O4 (1770.6 ± 79.1 HV1, 3.35 times that MgAl2O4), flexural strength, (Al2Cr0.5Zn0.1Mg0.2Mn0.2)O4...

Crystal facet engineering has emerged as one of the most important strategies for designing highly efficient photocatalysts with improved charge separation efficiency. Tantalum nitride (Ta 3 N 5 ) is popular visible‐light‐responsive photocatalysts, but controllable synthesis well‐shaped Ta single‐crystals clear facets still challenging due to harsh conditions. Herein, first demonstration given that prism‐like octahedral single crystals preferential exposure {001}, {010}, and {102} can be...

Abstract Layered materials are promising candidates to serve for thermal insulation coatings because of their low out‐of‐plane conductivity. The thin film preparation the layered in layer‐by‐layer fashion can be realized by several solution processes. However, suffer stability after Herein, we report a strategy improve processed solution. In this work, studied lepidocrocite‐type titanate with various interlayer ions (Li + , Na K and Cs ) at elevated temperatures. We proved that increased...

A large-scale production of necklace-like SiC/SiO2 heterojunctions was obtained by a molten salt-mediated chemical vapor reaction technique without metallic catalyst or flowing gas. The effect the firing temperature on evolution phase composition, microstructure, and morphology studied. nanochains, several centimeters in length, were composed core-shell chains amorphous SiO2 beans. morphologies as-prepared products could be tuned adjusting temperature. In fact, diameter beans decreased,...

Abstract ZnSn(OH) 6 regular octahedrons were successfully synthesized through a simple hydrothermal method using an aqueous solution containing ZnO flower‐like structures, SnCl 4 ·5H 2 O, and NaOH. Phase structure, morphology microstructure of the samples investigated by X‐ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Parameters in preparation process such as ratios Sn 4+ /OH ‐ , molar ratio Zn/Sn reaction time discussed. Results show that obtained are comprised with about μm...
