A flexible and sensitive textile-based pressure sensor is developed using highly conductive fibers coated with dielectric rubber materials. The exhibits superior sensitivity, very fast response time, high stability, compared previous sensors. By a weaving method, the can be applied to make smart gloves clothes that control machines wirelessly as human-machine interfaces.
A contact problem is considered in which an elastic half–plane pressed against a rigid fractally rough surface, whose profile defined by Weierstrass series. It shown that no applied mean pressure sufficiently large to ensure full and indeed there are not even any areas of finite dimension — the area consists set fractal character for all values geometric loading parameters.A solution partial sinusoidal surface used develop relation between distribution at scale n − 1 n. Recursive numerical...
In this study, we conducted molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the mechanical mixing and deformation behavior of hcp-Ti/fcc-Al bimetal formed by ultrasonic welding (UW). To analyze effect interface shape, considered sixteen sinusoidal interfaces various heights spatial periods along with flat interface. Mechanical between Ti Al occurs mainly in vibrational loading direction, while it is suppressed interface-normal as direction lies within slip planes both hcp fcc structures. The...
This study aims to propose a sampled-data control technique, utilizing linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, achieve string-stable vehicle platooning in cooperative adaptive cruise (CACC) system with communication delays. To do this, decentralized controller design technique that combines one using sensor measurements and another vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, ensuring both individual string stability, is proposed first. Next, memory (MSC) approach presented account for...
The flow of electrical current through a microscopic actual contact spot between two conductors is influenced by the adjacent spots. A smoothed version this interaction effect developed and used to predict resistance when statistical size spatial distribution spots known. To illustrate use method, an idealized fractal rough surface defined using random midpoint displacement algorithm, assumed be given intersection with constant height plane. With these assumptions, it shown that including...
Based on the intelligent digital redesign (IDR) technique, this article proposes a novel method for designing sampled-data fuzzy observer estimating state vector of nonlinear oscillating system. The proposed guarantees not only estimation performance but also matching designed observer. aims at making difference between trajectories redesigned and given continuous-time small enough. Thus, it is assumed that was appropriately in advance. To solve IDR problem, we propose...
The present article establishes a general theory of frictional moving contact orthotropic materials indented by rigid punch with various profiles. moves to the right or left at constant speed shear stress arising inside region. motion should be subsonic. By using Galilean transformation and Fourier transform, singular integral equation second kind is obtained, solution which has non-square-root unconventional singularity. Numerical results are presented show influences relative velocity...
Tandem welding increases productivity in gas metal arc (GMAW). We investigate asynchronous DC–AC pulse tandem GMAW. analyse and droplet behaviour for two processes, DC standard-AC pulse-AC pulse. Spatters were generated by attractive repulsive interferences. The interaction hinders stable transfer the one can induce short-circuiting of hanging droplets. examine effect process parameters on spatter generation. During GMAW, high peak current stiffness enhances detachment. observed consistency...
In analyzing the contact behavior of a material indented by moving punch, much importance are contributions velocity and property. The present paper develops smoothly model for orthotropic materials rigid punch. Based on fundamental solutions each eigenvalue case, mixed boundary-value problem is reduced to Cauchy type singular integral equation applying Galilean transformation Fourier transform. Particularly, exact solution obtained presented, closed-form expressions physical quantities...
Abstract In-stent restenosis (ISR) often occurs after applying drug eluting stents to the blood vessels suffering from atherosclerosis or thrombosis. For treatment of ISR, balloons (DEB) have been developed deliver anti-proliferative drugs lesions with ISR. However, there are still limitations DEB such as low delivery efficiency and loss flow. Although most researches focused on alteration formulation for more efficient delivery, few studies that attempted understand utilize contact modality...
This study deals with the decentralized sampled-data fuzzy tracking control of a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) considering communication delay feedback signal. A Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) approach is adopted to represent UAV as two subsystems: position system and attitude system. Unlike most previous studies, novel controller for proposed. In addition, minimize increase in computational complexity, Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF) configured only state required each subsystem. The...
