Post COVID-19 sequelae are a constellation of symptoms often reported after recovering from COVID-19. There is need to better understand the clinical spectrum and long-term course this entity. The aim study describe features risk factors post in North Indian population. This prospective observational was conducted at tertiary healthcare centre Northern India between October 2020 February 2021. Patients aged >18 years with laboratory-confirmed were recruited least two weeks diagnosis, details...

Critical analysis of electrograms any therapy delivery event is paramount to identify the etiology, specificity, and sensitivity programmed algorithms differentiate supraventricular versus ventricular tachycardia, its effectiveness, potential interventions prevent recurrence. Besides aspects mentioned above, this case delves into limitations existing adverse effects anti-tachycardia pacing. A middle-aged patient with an implanted dual-chamber automated implantable cardioverter defibrillator...

A sexagenarian underwent a dual-chamber pacemaker (Medtronic lnc, Minneapolis, Minnesota) insertion 12 years back for intermittent complete heart block. The pulse generator was replaced recently an elective replacement indicator. programming parameters are depicted in Table 1. Since the PG change, patient has complained of abnormal electrical shock-like sensations at left pectoral region superior and lateral to pocket site. insisted that three debilitating shocks would occur exactly 3 hourly...

ABSTRACT Intermittent P‐wave non‐tracking in pacemaker electrograms is an infrequent observation routine clinical practice. While this finding may suggest significant device malfunction, it can also represent a benign response to advanced algorithms. This article presents differential diagnosis of intermittent non‐tracking, with the aim facilitating accurate interpretation and minimizing unnecessary diagnostic procedures.

Myocardial involvement in Takayasu arteritis is infrequent. Left ventricular aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm extremely rare arteritis. We present such a case of left outflow tract with communication to the aortic sinus causing intermittent main coronary compression presenting as heart failure and episodic angina.

Chronic cavitary pulmonary aspergillosis (CCPA) is a slow destructive type of chronic aspergillosis, characterised by multiple cavities that develop and expand over several months or years. Pleural involvement in the form pneumothorax has been rarely reported CCPA. We report such an unusual case immunocompromised male, with history cough fever, presenting acute onset shortness breath. Chest imaging showed bilateral cavitating nodules, ground glass opacities dense right middle lobe...

“Coronary cascades” or “coronary arcades” are congenital inter-coronary communications allowing uni- bi-directional blood flow seen in the absence of obstructive coronary lesions. Coronary cascades take up role collaterals if atherosclerotic lesions develop. We present angiogram images a cascade connecting left anterior and right posterior descending arteries (LAD RPDA) distal interventricular groove patient with spontaneous artery dissection near total occlusion LAD who presented inferior...

Right atrial aneurysm (RAA) is a rare congenital anomaly. It usually occurs due to dysplasia of the myocardium or localized absence pericardium. We present case asymptomatic RAA in an adolescent, which was detected incidentally because bulge right heart border.

Abstract Background Coronary stent infections are an uncommon but deadly complication of percutaneous coronary intervention. Mortality remains as high 40–60% even with adequate treatment. We report such interesting case left circumflex (LCX) infection and mycotic aneurysm that was successfully managed antibiotics surgery. Case presentation A middle-aged man who underwent intervention (PCI) to the artery four weeks prior referred a pyrexia unknown origin, not responding antibiotics,...

The echocardiographic markers that occur in sequence cardiac tamponade are inferior vena cava plethora, right atrial diastolic collapse, exaggerated inspiratory variation mitral and tricuspid velocities finally ventricular collapse. Contrary to popular belief, the degree of inversion does not correlate with presence or absence physiology, however, time (exceeding one-third cycle) significantly improves sensitivity collapse predicting tamponade. We present here an important demonstration...

Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a form of large vessel vasculitis that may lead to fibrosis, stenosis, or aneurysm formation vessels. Its presentation varies depending on the arterial beds involved. We report 3 cases out around 150 TA with rare initial presentations brachial plexopathy caused by an axillary artery aneurysm, complicated type A intramural hematoma, and renal aneurysms along abdominothoracic presenting as pulsatile abdominal mass.
