Two new cyclic lipopeptides (3 and 4) were isolated from the culture filtrate of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain SD-32, together with two known metabolites, iso-C15 iso-C16 bacillomycin D (1 2). Phi29 DNA ポリメラーゼによる非特異的なDNA 増幅と, リボゾームDNA (rDNA) Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) 領域に特異的なプライマーを用いたポリメラーゼ鎖反応 (PCR) を組み合わせ, 得られたDNA 断片の塩基配列をBLAST 解析に供することにより, 木片中に棲息する極微量の担子菌を検出および菌種同定することが可能となる。そこで, 住宅敷地内に埋設したベイトステーション中の木片に対して本手法を適用し, 生息する担子菌類の検出と菌種同定を試みた。その結果, 16カ所のベイトステーションから合計103の異なるITS領域塩基配列を取得することができた。さらに得られた配列をBLAST 解析に供することで, そのうちの80菌種を同定できたが, 同定された菌種は10属17種に及んでいた。この結果から, 一軒の住宅敷地内であっても, 埋設した環境によって木片中には多種の担子菌が存在する事が明らかとなった。
