Using hundreds of significant anomalies as testing portfolios, this paper compares the performance major empirical asset pricing models. The q-factor model and a closely related five-factor are two best performing models among long array outperforms in factor spanning tests explaining momentum profitability anomalies, but has an edge value-versus-growth anomalies. Investment profitability, not liquidity, key driving forces broad cross section expected stock returns.

Abstract The central nervous system has evolved to coordinate the regulation of both behavior response external environment and homeostasis energy expenditure. Recent studies have indicated dorsomedial ventromedial hypothalamus (dmVMH) as an important hub that regulates innate for coping stress. However, how dmVMH neurons control neuronal firing pattern regulate chronic stress-induced anxiety expenditure remains poorly understood. Here, we found enhanced activity in VMH after stress, which...

In this study, numerical simulations using the Abaqus finite element model were performed to evaluate effects of incorporating waste tyres varying sizes into base layer as part a coupled tyre-pavement structure. The tyre-reinforced structure demonstrated superior deformation resilience, attributed hyperelastic properties tyre rubber, underscoring its potential for applications where recovery is essential. For achieving uniform settlement, entire stacking scheme recommended, whereas one-third...
