This research shows how to use historical delivery data predict future results by applying address intelligence. The application of multiple linear regression techniques supports the development intelligence identifying and predicting improvement potential (rework) for other zip code areas. has been successfully applied a logistics parcel service company. In our case shown that pre-delivery contact with customer about time window seems be most promising concept guarantee efficient delivery.

E-commerce is still a strong growing segment with fierce competition among parcel delivery service providers. To stay ahead of the competitors innovation necessary. Currently, parcels are being delivered large vans which will usually deliver single to doorsteps their customers. This so called 'last mile delivery' most expensive logistics activity. In literature it proposed that lockers have high potential save cost. our paper review on lockers, 3 methods for analysis described and results...

The influence economies scale in terminal operations are taken into account analysis. defined related different conditions (e.g. share empty kilometres, capacity usage terminals, etc.) order sensitivity cost performance transport. By doing it possible what extent freight competitive with road-only terms specific (both shipping terminal). conclusions prove that...
