ABSTRACT TRAPPIST-1 is an 0.09 M⊙ star, which harbours a system of seven Earth-sized planets. Two main features stand out: (i) all planets have similar radii, masses, and compositions; (ii) are in resonance. Previous works outlined pebble-driven formation scenario where composition form sequentially at the H2O snowline (∼0.1 au for this low-mass star). It was hypothesized that subsequent migration led to current resonant configuration. Here, we investigate whether sequential planet model...
Kepler-221 is a G-type star hosting four planets. In this system, planets b, c, and e are in (or near) 6:3:1 three-body resonance even though the planets' period ratios show significant departures from exact two-body commensurability. Importantly, intermediate planet d not part of chain. To reach configuration, we propose scenario which there were originally five system chain first-order resonances. After disk dispersal, became unstable two quickly merged to become current d. addition, b/c/e...

We propose a monotone approximation scheme for class of fully nonlinear PDEs called G-equations. Such equations arise often in the characterization G-distributed random variables sublinear expectation space. The proposed is constructed recursively based on piecewise constant viscosity solution to G-equation. establish convergence and determine rate with an explicit error bound, using comparison principles both equation together mollification procedure. first application obtaining Peng's...
The theory of Type~I migration has been widely used in many studies. Transiting multi-planet systems offer us the opportunity to examine consistency between observation and theory, especially for those harbouring planets Mean Motion Resonance (MMR). displacement these resonant pairs show from exact commensurability provides with information on their eccentricity-damping histories. Here, we adopt a probabilistic approach, characterized by two distributions -- appropriate either or...
Context: Current exoplanet formation studies tend to overlook the birth environment of stars in clustered environments. The effect this on planet-formation process, however, is important, especially earliest stage. Aims: We investigate differences planet populations forming star-cluster environments through pebble accretion and compare these results with around isolated stars. try provide potential signatures young planetary systems guide future observation. Methods: design present a new...
ABSTRACT We report the discovery and analysis of a candidate triple-lens single-source (3L1S) microlensing event, OGLE-2019-BLG-1470. This event was first classified as normal binary-lens (2L1S) but careful 2L1S modelling showed that it needs an additional lens or source to fit observed data. It is found 3L1S model provides best fit, binary-source (2L2S) only disfavoured by Δχ2 ≃ 18. All feasible models include planet with planet-to-host mass-ratios 10−3 ≲ q 10−2. A Bayesian based on...
In recent years, there has been growing interest in the field of functional neural networks. They have proposed and studied with aim approximating continuous functionals defined on sets functions Euclidean domains. this paper, we consider spheres. The approximation ability deep ReLU networks is investigated by novel spherical analysis using an encoder-decoder framework. An encoder comes up first to accommodate infinite-dimensional nature domain functionals. It utilizes harmonics help us...

We propose an approximation scheme for a class of semilinear parabolic equations that are convex and coercive in their gradients. Such arise often pricing portfolio management incomplete markets and, more broadly, directly connected to the representation solutions backward stochastic differential equations. The proposed is based on splitting equation into two parts, first corresponding linear second Hamilton--Jacobi equation. these approximated using, respectively, Feynman--Kac Hopf--Lax...

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common cause of respiratory tract infection in vulnerable populations. Natural killer (NK) cells and dendritic (DC) are important for the effector functions both cell types following infection. Wild-type NKG2D-deficient mice were infected with RSV. Lung pathology was assessed by histology. Dendritic function phenotype evaluated enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay flow cytometry. The expression NKG2D ligands on lung lymph node DCs measured immunostaining...
In this paper, we construct a new integrable equation which is generalization of q-Toda equation.Meanwhile its soliton solutions are constructed to show property.Further the Lax pairs generalized and whole hierarchy also constructed. To integrability, Bi-Hamiltonian structure tau symmetry given leads function.
<title>Abstract</title> The Sun was born together with a few thousand other stars in clustered environment. So long as it cluster member, no asteroid ejected by the giant planets could remain bound to Sun, preventing formation of an Oort cloud. number asteroids cloud and their combined mass can then be used time moment left nest. If within first 5 Myr, would have been up 4 times more massive than today’s best estimate. considerably less estimate if later 17 Myr. orbital distribution inner...
