With the development of mobile Internet and things (IoT), 5th generation (5G) wireless communications will foresee explosive increase in traffic. To address challenges 5G such as higher spectral efficiency, massive connectivity, lower latency, some non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) schemes have been recently actively investigated, including power-domain NOMA, with low-density spreading (LDS), sparse code (SCMA), multiuser shared (MUSA), pattern division (PDMA), etc. Different from...

However, most schemes focus on full-array structure, which involves a high complexity. In this paper, we propose near-optimal iterative scheme based more realistic subarray structure with low We first decompose complicated capacity optimization problem...

In the proposed scheme, multiple layers of ACO-OFDM occupying subcarriers are combined so that almost all can be used data transmission. The polarities varied obtain flexible time-domain waveform, fully exploit dynamic...

Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) with index modulation has been emerged as a promising technique for next-generation networks, where the specific activation pattern of OFDM subcarriers is capable conveying additional information implicitly without energy consumption, hence improving system efficiency. In this paper, zero-padded tri-mode (ZTM-OFDM-IM) proposed, which achieving high spectral and ZTM-OFDM-IM, are partitioned into subblocks. each subblock, only fraction...
Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS) mainly consists of two steps: 1) clock tree topology generation and 2) buffering embedding. Due to the lack efficient model TSVs, most previous CTS 3D ICs ignore effect TSV planning in first step. In this paper, we study TSV-aware for by solving major issues that work has neglected: density distribution allocated TSVs; parasitic coupling effects induced TSVs constructing tree. The experimental results show considering impact on network step can meet manufacture...
For massive MIMO systems, linear signal detectors, such as zero forcing (ZF) detector, can achieve the near-optimal performance, but usually involve high complexity due to required matrix inversion of large size. In this paper, we propose a detector based on symmetric successive over-relaxation (SSOR) method without inversion, which reduce by one order magnitude. To guarantee performance SSOR-based in practice, also simple quantified relaxation parameter for only depends system...
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is an emerging technique and enjoys the benefits by enabling users to multiplex in power domain. More recently, NOMA has been discussed visible light communications (VLC) but less underwater wireless optical (UWOC). In this paper, we evaluate average channel capacity outage probability of UWOC systems presence turbulence. We consider impacts or bandwidth allocation coefficient oceanic turbulence fading on performance designed system. Numerical results...
In this paper, we investigate physical-layer security for the indoor single-input single-output (SISO) DC-biased optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) visible light communication (VLC) wiretap systems. To increase system security, propose a precoding scheme using time-domain artificial noise (AN) to exploit degrees of freedom (DOFs) provided by cyclic prefix (CP) OFDM. We further convex optimization method restrict peak average power ratio (PAPR) introduced AN and...

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) with index modulation has emerged as a promising complementary technique for next-generation networks due to its high energy efficiency. In this paper, zero-padded tri-mode aided OFDM (ZTM-OFDM) is proposed, where subcarriers are partitioned into subblocks. Explicitly, only fraction of utilized two distinguishable constellation alphabets in each subblock, whilst the others remain empty. By such strategy, additional bits can be conveyed by...
In this paper, we consider the impact of turbulence on performance UWOC systems and investigate capacity bit-error rate (BER) underwater wireless optical links under weak strong by deriving expressions average BER. Numerical results suggest that degrades both BER as expected. This work provides a theoretical analysis tool for system design evaluation systems.
Visible light communication (VLC) is a promising complementary technology to radio frequency (RF) communication. In existing VLC multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system, emitting diodes (LEDs) vertical MIMO (LVM) model commonly used. However, in LVM model, illuminance distribution not uniform enough for office and the optical channel highly correlated, which degrade system performance, especially cases with small emitter separation. this paper, LEDs inclined (LIM) proposed performance...
In recent years, the demand of ubiquitous computing and location-based services (LBS) has risen. The most challenge in LBS is location mobile terminals. Existing techniques have poor performance urban environments due to severe multipath NLOS propagation. Fingerprint localization based on wireless-LAN (WLAN) been preferred for those types environments. Although fingerprinting researched some previous works, there are only few studies that investigate outdoor positioning system according...

In millimetre wave (mm‐wave) communications, hybrid precoding is preferred which uses much less number of RF chains compared with the antenna elements. The conventional method selects beamforming vectors at base station (BS) and combining user equipments (UEs) to maximise received signal power. However, in some specific scenarios, when UEs have strong highly correlated paths, referred as collided UEs, they might share same vector BS leading severe inter‐user interference. An enhanced beam...

Due non-line-of-sight conditions multipath propagation environments, estimation GPS/DR integrated lacks acceptable accuracy demanding applications, such as continuous tracking. Comparing GPS, fingerprinting based on signal strength observations could continuously log location...
