Thanks to its ability improve the realism of computer-generated imagery, use global illumination has recently become widespread among digital lighting artists. It remains unclear, though, what impact it on design workflows, especially for novice users. In this paper we present a user study which investigates illumination, large area lights, and non-physical fill lights in tasks, where 26 subjects with these tools. The collected data suggest that is not significantly harder control users...

Abstract HgJ 2 single crystals both pure and doped were grown from an acetone solution using the method of slow solvent evaporation. The iodides NaJ, KJ, SrJ , CdJ NH 4 J used as doping materials in concentrations 0.01 to 2.0 wt%. studied with respect influence impurity on electric conductivity phase transitions at atmospheric pressure (the DTA method) high well (with help optical cell).

Total reservoir phosphorus loading and epilimnion were estimated their relations to phytoplankton quantity examined for spring-summer periods during 1984-1991 in Ěímov Reservoir, a stratified, moderately eutrophic with variable surface deep outlets operation. Epilimnion was quantified from the volumes of water entering due inflow temperature-density currents discharges that determined by one-dimensional dynamical simulation model hydrodynamics DYRESM 5. The fraction total input into varied...

Abstract The refinery and petrochemical production facilities process produce the gaseous liquid flammable hydrocarbons. Most of processes are operated under high pressure. In case any failure, improper design or human mistake there must be autonomous independent pressure relieving systems activated to release flare protect equipment against overpressure, damages other consequences. article describes a safety assessment key relief valve installation at Steam Cracker in Litvinov, Czech...

A large testing programme of a strip steel HSLA grade, microalloyed by vanadium, titanium and niobium, was conducted. The experiment based on combination cold rolling, recrystallization annealing, mechanical testing, metallographic examinations TEM analysis. Flat samples with thickness 3.9 mm were rolled in several passes the total height reduction 5 to 75 %. Afterwards laboratory mill products annealed vacuum furnace protective gas atmosphere consisting N2+H2. underwent testing. gained...
