The effects of basalt fiber incorporation on the mechanical properties red clay soils were investigated. Through direct shear test, unconfined compressive strength and microstructure curves stress–strain fiber-modified obtained under different rates soil dry density conditions. results showed that: (1) significantly increased after fiber; (2) increase was greatest at 0.3% incorporation, which optimum level; (3) damage form changed, incorporated with changed from brittle to ductile damage;...
This study is aimed at the problem of limestone deterioration and damage caused by combination acid rain dry-wet cycle in Guilin. Samples were taken to influence acidic cycles on damage. was accomplished performing nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer samples. The found that with an increase number cycles, <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M1"> <a:msub> <a:mrow> <a:mi>T</a:mi> </a:mrow> <a:mn>2</a:mn>...
To address the scarcity of lime resources, this study explores potential using industrial solid waste, including fly ash (FA) and carbide slag, as replacements for or cement in soil stabilization roadbed construction. The optimal mixing ratio FA calcium slag (CCS) was determined compaction unconfined compressive tests. also examines relationship between optimum moisture content maximum dry density CCS binder, well strength variation trend. investigated FA–CCS-stabilized soil, trend...
