In this letter, a novel miniaturized periodic element for constructing bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS) is proposed. Compared to previous structures, the FSS proposed has better miniaturization performance with dimension of unit cell only 0.061 λ × , where represents wavelength resonant frequency.
