The cross-talk among different orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes induced by the turbulent atmosphere is a challenging effect commonly occurring in OAM-based free-space optical (FSO) communication. aim of this study to propose simple method reduce crosstalk and demonstrate its analytical derivation numerical simulation. It found that largely reduced using focusing mirror. Our results will be useful
With the help of generalized Huygens-Fresnel integral, an analytical expression for self-healing a partially coherent radially polarized twisted (PCRPT) beam is derived. The coherence and polarization properties PCRPT in propagation are studied detail. It shows that existence twist phase double-edged sword beam. increase factor, ability intensity distribution decreases. However, anti-disturbance performance improves at same time. Besides, proved own slight when obstacle small. Our results...
The theoretical model for studying the self-healing of spatial coherence a light beam is constructed. Based on this model, evolution degree partially coherent Gaussian Schell-model studied in detail. This study shows existence effect partial beam. process determined by disturbing strength turbid medium, width, and initial coherence. An example application property provided case ghost imaging, if blurred certain media.
An analytical expression for a partially coherent azimuthally polarized beam with an astigmatic phase (PCAPBAP) is derived. The statistical properties of the PCAPBAP propagating in paraxial-focused system are studied through numerical examples. It shown that beam's shape changes unique way during propagation, and this type change related to rotating factor phase. Moreover, influence source coherence length on polarization investigated detail. results show also obviously due phase's effect....
The probability density analysis formula of the single orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode an annular vortex beam with a focusing mirror in turbulent atmosphere is derived theoretically, and effects different parameters on OAM spectrum are investigated numerically, results show that diffusion weaker than Gaussian under same conditions, can more effectively reduce crosstalk modes. Our findings will be useful for improving FSO system performance.
