This article reviewed the literature on conflict management training in medicine, proposed a set of competencies that health professionals need to learn order effectively deal with care settings, and described pilot project designed teach many these at Dartmouth. Our review evidence, discussions experts, findings highlight potential value incorporating comprehensive medical education.
