Abstract A main‐chain elastomer was synthesized for the first time by a cross‐linking hydrosilylation of cyclosiloxane with new liquid crystalline semiflexible polyether. Imposing uniaxial mechanical field to unstretched nematic polydomain sample results in macroscopic alignment director. For this process has be stretched factor about 5, which considerably exceeds effect observed side‐chain elastomers.
A new heterostructured (La,Sr)2FeO4-δ (LSF214)-La0.8Sr0.2FeO3-δ (LSF113) electrode has been synthesized to improve the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). This materials system was fabricated by deposition of Sr(NO3)2 into LSF113 framework followed subsequent heat treatment, resulting in a three-dimensional (3D) LSF214-LSF113 electrode. material consists with Ruddlesden-Popper (R-P) LSF214 phase formed on surface framework. The ORR activity enhanced 1 order magnitude using enhancement result...
Abstract This study systematically explored the crystal chemistry of Fe‐substituted hollandite (Fe‐hollandite) solid solutions (Ba x Cs y )(Fe 2 + Ti 8−2 − )O 16 ( = 1.33) yielding reliable results through meticulous Rietveld analysis XRD data. Continuous substitution triggered a monoclinic‐tetragonal (M‐T) phase transition, enhancing structural stability, as evidenced by increased tolerance factor t H ). The transition boundary, controlled .985, determines symmetry phase. Unit cell...

Formation enthalpies and Gibbs energies of actinide rare-earth containing SIMs with silicate germanate frameworks are reported. Volume-based thermodynamics (VBT) techniques complemented by density functional theory (DFT) were adapted applied to these complex structures. VBT DFT results in closest agreement for the smaller framework structure, whereas general predicts less negative across all SIMs, regardless type. Both methods predict silicates be most stable comparable structures...
